Figures. The one day I stay home from school, my brother decides he has a stomach ache and hogs the computer... :smallfurious:

Chicago. Proud owners of the highest unemployment rate in the US at I believe something like 12%...
Scratch that, it's more like 10.5, still one of the higher rates, but others are at like 15%...

You do realise that's a bad consolation when you're one of those 10.5 percent?
Of course you do. I guess I'm just bitter about it myself.

Okay, got a boatload of work tonight, but that's okay, I can take time to relax, yeah? Eh? He, he he he?

Re: KataraAltinaII's Premature Not So Short & To-The-Point Random Banter #130
that's how I'll be tomorrow.
no worries though. I work best under pressure.

Re: KataraAltinaII's Premature Not So Short & To-The-Point Random Banter #130
Okay, so I'm thinking of getting the ThinkGeek soundtrack shirt, and need suggestions for sound to put on it. There are twenty slots, many I've already designated:
-Booing
-Laughtrack
-Rimshot
-Cheering
-Mission Impossible
-Risky Business dancing scene accouterment
-Imperial March
-Yakity Sax
-Good, bad, ugly
-CSI Miami, for when I spout Pithy one-liners
-Any more?
-
Re: KataraAltinaII's Premature Not So Short & To-The-Point Random Banter #130
Also Sprach Zarathustra, also known as the opening to 2001: A Space Oddesy.
The Pink Panther Theme - because sometimes Mission Impossible just doesn't cut it
Never Gonna Give You Up - because, well, do I really need to explain this one? :smalltongue:

Re: KataraAltinaII's Premature Not So Short & To-The-Point Random Banter #130
I'm sick today. But the house is chock full of nom noms from a homecoming afterparty! Today will be good...
Also, this is my 2000th post... I've finally dinged to Ogre... I dunno if this should be as meaningful as I think it is :smallbiggrin:.

Re: KataraAltinaII's Premature Not So Short & To-The-Point Random Banter #130
Everyone is sick here. I'd better not get sick.
Congratulations! I got my 2000 post in a thread about how post counts don't matter.

Yeah. Getting sick this close to RenFest won't be fun :smalltongue:. Especially if it's Romeo and Juliette weekend!
EDIT: *promotes*

Re: KataraAltinaII's Premature Not So Short & To-The-Point Random Banter #130
I just had an epiphany. I'm an adult that doesn't live with my parents and I own my own kitchen. I can have as much bacon and coffee for breakfast as I want!
-
Re: KataraAltinaII's Premature Not So Short & To-The-Point Random Banter #130
It had to be said. Bacon, however, is one of the few things I miss.

Correct. However, nyahh, edited it faster.

Re: KataraAltinaII's Premature Not So Short & To-The-Point Random Banter #130
A man can survive on bacon alone!
Plus I have all those fruity coffee additives to use when I don't feel lazy.
It is the little things that make life great.

And thus we add another sick person to the list. :smallsigh:
I am having stomach problems again. I'm starting to think that it could be linked with the emotional problems I've been having.

The Pink Panther Theme - because sometimes Mission Impossible just doesn't cut it
Never Gonna Give You Up - because, well, do I really need to explain this one?
Good ones, definitely must add the RickRoll suggested by Jack
Other's I recommend....
Sound that Goofy makes when failing off a cliff. - A little personal for me, but comdy gold if someone falls around you.
I find your lack of faith...disturbing - Nothing like some Darth Vader to up the ante.
That's what she said! - Steve Carrol from The Office. Great for zingers.
Theme from Rocky - The intro is all you need. Great for making an entrance into a room.
Pinky - are you thinking what I'm thinking? - Pinky and the Brain.
Why....So....Serious? - Joker. Good to break any tense moment.
What is Love? - Night at the Roxbury. Instant dance song - also useful when your drinking a Pepsi.
Inconceivable! - You keep saying that word. I don't not think it means what you think it means.
Or a good source for if you want to change things out once in awhile...here. Since you can add any sound to the shirt.
-
Re: KataraAltinaII's Premature Not So Short & To-The-Point Random Banter #130
heck the thread starter is sick, and I never get sick...
this is serious business.

A ZING! is probably pretty good idea, although I personally would avoid any quotes if at all possible.
a dun DUN DUUUUUHHNN!! of some description is also in order.
This. For showdowns. Katana showdowns.
The song of Brave Sir Robin. For being brave.

Soundtrack shirt?
INCONCEIVABLE!
Also, I am currently boggling at how we're going to do this song in chorus.

Re: KataraAltinaII's Premature Not So Short & To-The-Point Random Banter #130
You know what I hate?
When you're thinking about something, and decide you don't want to think about it anymore. But trying to not think about something only makes you think about it harder, until you want to smoosh your brains and make them behave. >.<

Re: KataraAltinaII's Premature Not So Short & To-The-Point Random Banter #130
Woot! I'm watching the Death Note live action film with the English dubbing...
Lips... Don't match... sound. :smalleek:

Really? I hate queues. But only when I'm at the back. Or when I'm at the front and suddenly, as if by magic, I end up at the back.
But yours sounds more interesting. And yes, I dislike it too.

And I hate it when that man dressed as a pineapple keeps whipping me.
But do go on.

Never decide to stop thinking about something. Instead, decide to think about something else. It's much more effective...

Then what the Hell are you wearing? o.O
Anyway, you could do what I do, switch your brain off. Literally, that's what I do when thinking gets to hard. But you might need to get one of those breathing machines before you do that.

Whenever that happens, I start painting a mental picture of Smaug the dragon based off of this illustrated copy of the Hobbit that was my uncles when he were but a boy.
Or I start singing. Recently I've started out on a variant of this. Mostly because that's one of our thingies from the shakespearean acting thingeh I'm taking.
