Eh, I guess.

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
If you want this thread to stay on topic Coffee, you might want to give the example.

There hasn't been any evidence that the concept of PC/NPC exists in Murphy's Law.
-
Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
YAY! ASTA KASK IS BACK! *Giant dragon hug*
...Never do that again.
Because if you do, i will hunt you down and feed your family to the Nimmys.

I told them it was nothing to worry about... Phew, so glad I was right
Waitaminute, Elsewhere? But I thought only Exalted had access to that? Time to do something that I shouldn't be able to and hope for the best :smalltongue:

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
He means there's an offsite where the crack pairers moved their stuff to.
Asta, if I may ask, what do you like about these updates?
-
Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
I liked them. Is the brother modelled on yours by any chance? :smalltongue:
I wonder what Parent and Other-Parent were like?
Elsewhere is named after a site that was started after one of the mods on SJG forums began ending his lock-thread notes with Take It Elsewhere. So a guy started a forum called Elsewhere where these discussions could go on. Even got a semi-official endorsement in the form of a sticky in the General Chatter sub-forum.
I've never been there so I don't know much about them.

Eh, not really. Only the hair and I didn't even NOTICE until right now.
Okay, do you honestly think I'm NOT going to show the parents? :smalltongue:

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
Hi asta. (aquaitences dont glomp :smalltongue:)
The fact that the guy's ear is on the right, and the girl's is on the left got me thinking... maybe I should homebrew up a playable D&D race biased entirely on the whole yin-yang thing. Were every member of the race has a polar opposite, whatever you are, it isn’t...
*shrugs*

Awesome idea. Can I help/steal it?

They could be dead. That's the big disadvantage with elf-human relationships. Sure, it looks lovely at the beginning, but soon it starts to resemble Anna Nicole Smith x John Marshall.

Both of them? Why would both of them be dead?

Kurt Gödel starved himself to death while his wife was in the hospital. Or, yeah, one of them could be dead.

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
There ARE ways around aging in d&d... just not many. bah.

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
Out of curiosity, Coffee, does Janine see Lloyd as an actual person or just someone to lust after and luckily sleep with, preferably multiple times?

She does see Lloyd as an actual person. She also lusts after him like crazy.
-
Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
It could have been a point of character development, albeit perhaps a little cliche.
Does she love his personality like she loves his body or is that supposed to happen later?
(Even though we all know he'll end up marrying Fanservice Girl; for her character, no less. :smallwink:)
-
Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
Let's be honest here. Who wouldn't go for Fanservice Girl?

What, I'm not allowed to ignore one point for others?
-
Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
I never disallowed anything. I was merely commenting a what-could-have-been that might have shed some light on Janine's future character development.

Somehow I don't see Tinder interested in humans.
-
Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
Janine: So...horny...must get...laid...ARGH!
Tinder: What's with her? :smallconfused:
Lloyd: Oh no, not this again :smallannoyed:
Matt: HELP! *Runs from angry mob*
Angry mob: Skin him! Flay him! Burn him! *Waves torches and pitchforks*
Lloyd: ...What did he do this time :smallsigh:

Really? Seeing as dragons in this world can shapeshift into humans, I'd expect dragon/humanoid pairings to happen quite a bit.

Eh, Janine's character development is headed in different directions. She's not starting off as a blank slate either. Remember that.
Tinder's 62. In dragon years, his hormones are still going at full force.
-
Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
And I was about to post that as he was going to spend most of his time in human form, it'd be human hormones running through his body.
Watch out with that love potion, Janine.
-
Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
Besides...
Hornragons...i mean dragons, are known for being pretty promiscius.

In DnD. We have no idea if they're that way in Coffe's world. They could actually be monogamous, faithful to their significant other and dating only members of their own species.
