Okay, that got a LOL. And a hilarious image.
That is never nice *Hugs*

Um, Discord? The level of hostility/suggested violence you're showing toward Janine is becoming creepier than Janine's own borderline-creepy behavior. No disrespect intended; you've made your point, and it's a valid one. But fire and blunt instruments to the face? It's one thing if it reads as a joke, but when combined with apparently real anger, it's disturbing to read.
(And just when Closak has laid off his violent anti-elf musings...)
The difference between Closak's eager advocation of complete elven genocide and my stake comment is that I was joking whereas he never was.
Thanks for clarifying that; it does help. (The old can't-see-facial-expressions-over-the-Internet thing strikes again.)
Please don't take what I said personally; I was just becoming a little wierded-out, which I know I wouldn't have if we were talking in real-life and you were using a classic Mad Scientist(tm) voice or something.
Yeah, I got freaked out there too. Thanks for clarifying.
think its wrong of me to kind of hope Janine gives up on Lloyd (for the time being) and just goes off to spend some alone time with matt and Tinder before the potion weres off? :P
... This comic just gave me an idea for a plot device... one HELL of a plot device... THANK YOU

I put 2's because I had no idea what to actually give him.
Unfortunately I have no inspiration for the others. :smallfrown:Quote:
You do know that you've got to make one for all of them now, right? :smallamused:
Ah, okay. Thanks. And don't worry, inspiration will come!
I'm open to more correct stats though. If Matt's worth Attack 2 and Defence 2, what of Lloyd? Speaking of him, What Magic does he get? 1? 2? What of Radic, Janine orthe ditzSerrin?
*is in awe*
For the rest of my life, any time I stop laughing for any reason, I will picture a sedate-looking brown card full of little chasing weasel things. Then I will start laughing again.
Is defense dex based? If Lloyd isn't in his armor, Matt's got a MUCH higher AC, but with his armor, they're about equal.
Hey, Serrin's got natural 18 intelligence. :smalleek:
I think this is a good descriptor of Serrin. And me, in some aspects. :smalltongue:
maken one for Janin now :P
edit: the pic is gunna be messy though. sorry! :P
edit 2: anyone know Janines last name? i forgot
It seems like Defense covers both what D&D players would thing of as "AC" and "Hit Points".
So I would give Matt a higher Attack than defense; rogues are a bit squishy and glasscannonish, whatever their Dex. Lloyd I would do the opposite; he's got less burst damage than Matt, but more staying power. So perhaps Att/Def/Mag of 3/2/0 for Matt, and 2/3/0 for Lloyd. Then maybe 2/2/1 for Radic (plus some cool shapeshifting abilities not keyed to her Mag score), 1/2/2 for Janine, and 1/0/4 for Serrin, who makes lemmings wince and say "Watch what you're doing, girl!"
(Arbitrarily normalizing everyone's total to 5.)
No one said she didn't. The more brilliant people you meet, the less you think that "genius" and "ditz" are incompatible. A good fraction of my coworkers either have Nobel prizes or are generally agreed to have been in the running for one at some point. And they can be some of the biggest ditzes on the planet.Quote:
Hey, Serrin's got natural 18 intelligence. :smalleek:
(So can I. I hear people explain why they know their older relative is becoming demented -- "He showed up two hours late because he forgot where he parked!" "She doesn't even remember what color her kitchen is painted!" "He forgets the names of people he's worked with for years, but remembers everything else about them!" -- and I know that when I'm 80, no one will believe I am not senile. They'll be hauling me off for my own protection while I rant, "Dammit, I've been like this my whole life! Ask...um...ask Whatshername!")
I don't know why, but the image of Janine grinning with those glowing pink eyes really made me laugh. I sure hope the country they're in doesn't have very severe public exposure laws. :smallamused:
By the way, Janine's choice of words during the last panel were both creepy and hilarious.
Does Janine have a sword or a dagger?
Oh wow, she ALMOST got Lloyd! :smalleek:
Aw. True Neutral would have meant they had all the non-Evil alignments. Well, her card's probably unfitting anyway, so she keeps her TN alignment there. :smalltongue:

*Starts giggling again* We don't know that much about Serrin yet. She's actually pretty interesting.
And here is the first of what I hope will be many crossover pics that I drew. I took some liberties with Janine's cape for the sake of her speech bubble. Also, My mother would say that Janine's hair is "nappy." Make of that what you will.
