Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
There are things on this earth that someone doesn't Like?
-
Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
Uh...Guys? I think we may be starting to stray into choppy, board-illegal waters...
-
Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
...you're right. Using words that can't be mistaken is bad idea.
(Ambiguifies)
Sorry.

So they're headed for the Elfwoods? Oh, boy.
Does Janine wear earrings?

Ah...:amused: (Sorry, I just woke up. Even I need five minutes.)
Oh please, how long do you think Janine will last?

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
Well, Lloyd's learned the secret command word now. Whenever she gets too insistent he just has to say "I smell orcs! And they may be nearby!"

Oh, that's just cruel. You know that's not a Lloyd thing to do. :smalltongue:
And if anybody does it in front of Radic, she will get very upset. And do you think it's a good idea to piss off the girl who can turn into a dire grizzly bear?
You know, if Matt wants to get Radic, this is not the way to do it. :smalltongue:

You're right. It's more a Matt thing to do. He's the one with a Wisdom penalty.

Well, there is at least one in the party who can piss her off then...Dragons outclass Dire Grizzly Bears in combat :smalltongue:
And who knows? There might actually be orcs nearby, you know... :smalltongue:

See also Wisdom penalty.

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
So yeah...how long before Janine snaps and falls on her knees to BEG Lloyd to do her?
And what are the chances she go after Tinder as well?
Because you know, dragon.
Meanwhile Matt is doing something stupid again (No surprise there)
I foresee much crazyness to come, and much LOLing.

Touche. He's got a wisdom score around 7-8.

Evidently you haven't read my notes. It gets really crazy soon. Well, not soon, a while. Janine's repeated attempts to seduce Lloyd eventually culminate in...You'll see! :smallamused:
EDIT: Asta, board rules. :smalltongue:

I wonder if anyone has made a Lawyer base class?

You want the cleric and the druid, you gotta put up with it. Janine and Radic are a package deal.
-
Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
Well, they're going to a prestigious magic academy, so finding another druid and another cleric won't exactly be a problem. :smallwink:

Yes, but Janine and Radic are two of the main characters. I win!

Word of God. It cannot be argued with, just ignored with speculation :smalltongue:
I wonder if Lloyd's temper will fail soon... annoyance can only build up so much before it gets to critical level :smallamused:

Yeah, well, there's a fairly large variation in viable builds for the other base classes as well. So, a whole new bunch of feats for one. Sneak Intimidation to harass witnesses without the judge noticing; Objection and Greater Objection to negate other characters' class abilities, etc.

Being a main character is a temporary status. Nothing quite like a demoted main character to make a recurring villain. :smallwink:
I'm not sure I can root for a sexual harasser anyway.

Let's not forget drowning the opposing side in paperwork.

I dunno, Lloyd's pretty even-tempered.
Then again, if he snaps, he's got that halberd...:smalleek:

I can't either.
But with Janine. Well, obviously I'm playing it for comedy. And she's just convinced that Lloyd needs to spend some time with her to get it.
Janine's a good person, and please tell me if I take it too far.

Hell Hath No Fury - face the wrath of Janine.
I just don't see it.
Coffee - it's not too far, but if Lloyd tells her that "seriously - not funny any more" and she doesn't quit... that's too far.
Besides, we don't know that Lloyd doesn't like it deep down.

The problem with comedy is when you start thinking about what happens without the "it's funny!" excuse. For example, Belkar is played for laughs - enough said.

Yeah, Fanservice Girl from the first comic fits better.

The same applies to Radic if she supports Janine's sexual harassment.

I don't think she would if it ever got to that point.
And what if Janine realizes after getting to that point, and then tries to grow and change as a person? Though I'm sure she'd stop if Lloyd explicitly told her to knock it off. Janine may have high Wisdom, but she really can't take a hint.
