Cool.
The "hordes of summons" thing can be a turn off for some DM's, so perhaps a dual path ala Rangers? "Horde" Summoner, and "Extra Tough Summons" Summoner?
Well, this class pretty much lets you do both. This thread got necromancied recently, and I hadn't planned on making any really major changes to it since I kind of like it where it is and I'm on to other projects at the moment. If you can give me the particulars though of what you have in mind, I might add it in if I like it.
Also, the permanent summon: would it be affected by a Ring of Mighty Summons as well as Augment? Since a "typical" summoned creature would...

Creatures summoned in this method are typical for the spell used, modified only by the augment summoning feat.
I intended that the creature be mostly normal for balance reasons.

Ahh, sorry missed the necro. No specific ideas, and if you aren't actively working on it at the moment I'm happy with it as is. :smallwink:
Re: The Summoner (DnD 3.5 - p.e.a.c.h.)
Glad you like it! Check out some of my other homebrew sometime.

Done and done. :smallwink:
Been looking for a LA +0 / no level loss undead PC race for a while. Your stuff isn't exactly what I had in mind, but is very nice. :)

I've just never been a fan of aging. I mean, It doesn't effect current gaming unless you bring her/him back for another game campaign somehow. even then, thats future games not current.
seems impossible to stop character aging without epic destiny, necro magic, or becoming undead.
it would be fun to have a class that will stop aging as an effect.
on the undead thing mentioned before this post, you could just work with your DM to create an undead.
I did that to make a somewhat nerfed Vampire character. had essentially just some of the undead traits, and a few vampire specific undead things, like the blood drain.
Re: The Summoner (DnD 3.5 - p.e.a.c.h.)
Maybe you should make it so that you can add creatures to your Summon spells.
