SpoilerOK. Didn't know exactly how that worked, never had a fight with someone who announced their presence beforehand in a campaign. Kinda new territory. I'll do my turn over when the time comes, since the odds of them remaining in range but not in a threatening space are slim.

Ameretat draws her crossbow and loads it.
The two elves spring into motion as Ameretat draws, dashing around to opposite sides of the wagons. "We'll see about that, won't we?" As Shan completes her draw, she holds a gloved finger against the last few inches of the shaft, creating a shower of sparks and igniting the tip of the arrow before releasing it at Henri. The other elf, picking out the second obvious target, sends a shot at Wildgeist.

Rrrghhh! Well played. Now see if you can handle this!
Henri casts Cause Fear on Shan. If she passes the save, he moves next to her. If she fails, he moves next to the other elf.

Are we going to use some sort of "Arena Map"???? Because I really need to know were am I and were are them to start fighting them...:smallfrown:
Shan flinches for a second, seemingly struggling with something, then briefly sticks her tongue out at you with a nervous giggle. "Heh. That was pretty good. But I've seen worse."
SpoilerWill: [roll0]
No map right now, since my good computer is still down, but we shouldn't really need one for this. You four are next to the wagons, the elves are 20-30 feet away on each side. Approximate things if you have to, it shouldn't be a problem.
Hehehe.... Looks like diplomacy failed Amy.... I think it's time they taste a little "green warmness" from us, blood brother!!!!!:smallamused:

Moving forward with a muttered oath, Olain draws a small throwing hammer and lobs it at Shan, but she ducks behind Henri and it sails off to the side. Her next arrow ignites as easily as the first one, and she releases it at Henri, dancing back just out of his reach and ignoring Ameretat's far-shot bolt. The other elf kicks Wildgeist's axe aside with a wry grin, letting the momentum spin him around and away, and fires another arrow at the half-orc.

SpoilerShades of Second Draconic with the potential first battle party wipe. Funny considering how many months it took us to get to this point. Also, Shan had -2 to attack rolls from the shaken penalty, though it doesn't matter since a 17 still (barely) hits. Also, I'm assuming the dancing out of my reach thing means she 5 footed before firing, even though the post itself makes it sound like she did so after. If I'm wrong, let me know so I can use my AoO.
Henri reels, the world around him becoming hazy as the lifeblood ebbs from his puncture wounds. As a last-ditch effort to remain conscious he calls once more on St. Esmeralda for divine support in healing his battered body. Then he moves himself back within arm's reach of the eagle-eyed elf.
SpoilerLosing Magic Stone to cast Cure Light Wounds, [roll0] healed. Then 5 foot back next to the wench.
Freshly rejuvenated, Henri looks at Shan with bright hatred in his eyes. You have some serious skills. Shame you wouldn't rather earn an honest wage guarding like us. Even more of one that I have to kill you now.
SpoilerYour turn, Wild. For once we're all on.
Shan stares back with equal ferocity, although her smile is wavering. "There are some things you can't go back from, holy man. You should know that much."
Now you´ve just made me MAD!!!!!!!!!!!:smallfurious:

SpoilerI'm not sure you ever dropped your axe, Wild. Also, you can 5 foot as part of a readied action, so you might as well ready to attack if they attack, that way you can 5 foot, attack, and then also get an AoO for their ranged attack. Two for the price of one.
SpoilerCorrect on both counts; that was just a parry, not a disarm.

Ameretat reloads.
Olain lobs a second hammer, cursing furiously as it comes no closer than the first. Ameretat's bolt lodges in Shan's left shoulder, and she sucks in a pained breath, stumbling backward. "Reg! Get the competent one!" Her draw is hampered by the wound, and the arrow flies straight past Henri, extinguishing itself in the snow with a hiss of steam.
"Mad, hmm? Perhaps I shouldn't stick around, then." With an amiable nod, Reg takes advantage of Wildgeist's threatening to slip off to the right, darting away behind the wagons and loosing an arrow at Ameretat.

SpoilerI'd wager between my attack and Scorer's, my target is probably down (though Sallera will have to confirm, 15 HP damage ought to bring her to unconsciousness). So just keep the turn the same but target the other guy.
SpoilerOK, It'll be that way if Sallera says the elf is down. ;)
Ameretat stays put in total defense, as she is quite wounded...
SpoilerNot much I can do now, I'm at 0HP, will attack if things get real bad...
Olain's third and last hammer is as useless as the last two, but Henri's swing crushes Shan's arm against her ribs with several audible cracks, sending her soundlessly to the ground, and Wildgeist manages to score a shallow cut in Reg's side, his tattered armour offering little protection. The elf's smile vanishes instantly, and he shifts silently out of Wildgeist's reach, pinning him with a swift-shot arrow. "Blood for blood, sprat. And if Shan's dead, I'll finish you off later."
SpoilerAmeretat, I'd advise you not to take total defense, as that's a standard action and it'll start you bleeding out.

SpoilerCrap...how far down does that put Wild?
Satisfied with felling Shan, Henri trots over to Reg, sidling up behind him as he fires a brutal shot into Wild.
Don't worry, blood brother. This one shall join his wicked sibling soon. [roll0] [roll1]
SpoilerRight, Ameretat does not defend...
Reg spins to receive the blow, but not fast enough, and the flail impacts heavily behind his shoulder, sending him to join Shan in the snow.
SpoilerWild's at -4, by my count.
