Re: WW Central VII: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
I'm thinking of making a game called
Goofus Mashimus
It would be a combination of YOW, TITANS, KH and of course, LLD.
Elements from the four games would include roles from each, and distinct WW originality from each, such as....
Money - Team Good trying to keep their lookt, 1-2 of team evil trying to take it. Stores and auctions
Picking your roles - Like in LLD, but not your team.
Various evil teams (like yow and titans) - however these teams will not have the same end goal, some may be thieves, some may be killers.
And of course, to keep things in order, I'll be using the Disney team / villain schemes.
What would be the interest in playing a game with complexities like that? It would need a lot of players to solve some balance issues.

I'd play, Goof. Titans, LLD, and YOW are some of my favorite flavors (alongside Pirates, of course :smallcool:).
-
Re: WW Central VII: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
I would play as well. It sounds fun.
-
Re: WW Central VII: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
I would definitely play in that game.

Spy Wars only needs one more player, but we have been waiting for a while.

I don't think anything you could do could solve the balance issues of a game like that. :smalltongue:
I'd still play of course.

Here's what I'm thinking role-wise so far....
All these roles can be on Good/Neutral/Team evils....pickable at game start
Killer/Careless Baner - Chance you'll be the killer taking lives, or the baner protecting them.
Banker/Careless Thief - Chance you'll be the thief taking the money, or the banker protecting it.
Seer/Careless Interferer - Chance you'll be the seer learning roles, or the interferer running interference
Night/Day Vortexer - Chance you'll be vortexing points in the day, or actions in the night
Night/Day Voider - Chance you'll be voiding points in the day (they don't count), or actions during the night.
Mayor - Points count as (players in game / 7) rounded up.
Hunter - 50% chance each day of finding stuff in the desert...new role (no auctions, dead player's stuff goes into desert).
Non-pickable by player, decided at game start after roles have been asked for.
Alpha - picks team, scries as *interference*.
Team ability (evil), Thief or Kill. - Action that can't be voided decided by majority of team vote.
....More to come, of course.

Final call for "Breaking the 4th wall"

I'd like to start tomorrow and it could use at least two more players so please sign up.
If we don't get em we can go without, so no pressure but you'll be missing out if you don't :smallwink:
EDIT - IT HAS BEGUN!

LLD will always start on April 1. It'll be forever fitting, like Atreyu and costumes. :smalltongue:

Wchich wastes excellent oportunity to play it twice per year :smallyuk:
-
Re: WW Central VII: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
I think once per year is good enough. It keeps it fresh, in my pixie-opinion.
-
Re: WW Central VII: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
And gives Goof time to run his other games.
-
Re: WW Central VII: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
Yeah, that too. But who cares about those. :smalltongue:

Pirates? Did someone mention Pirates?
*** (sound of cannonball landing really far away on the other side***
***Sploosh***
Wait, no one mentioned Pirates? Why not?

Twice per year would be just as fresh, in my non-pixie IMHO.

You honor me with your love of the game.
Honestly, with the 4 games I usually run (LLD, YOW, T & KH), they take about 3 months of gameplay to run, and doing more then once is a Godlike feat that I can't bring myself do yet (for example, still haven't run KH2), kudos to those who can. Plus I wouldn't want to hog space on the schedule like that either.
-
Re: Trixie won't think this is funny, either, but that's okay, cuz Goof will.

Because Pirates 6 is scheduled for 2013 after the solar icecaps melt the polar ice caps in 2012, so the Waterworld theme of Pirates will seem very fitting. Its going to be an exciting journey that starts with the crew trying to find dry land while battling the evil Sea Monkeys who don't want dry land to be found. On turn 3 the Sea Monkeys have a 75% chance of sinking the ship that everyone is on, forcing the person who has the role of "Pudding Priest" to cast a spell that will save the crew. Whether he casts Teleport, Planeshift, Fly, or Breathe Underwater will determine where the game goes from there.
Personally, I'm hoping for the Fly spell, so I can turn it into the Carebears WW game that I've been wanting to run!

Are you sure we have to wait til 2013? Cause I have some really great ideas for the carebears section.

**shrug**
As long as I get to be a wolf. I never get to be a wolf. Or at least have the power to kill. I want to choose who lives and dies. Was there a DEATH in the Care Bares :smalltongue:? Killing Care Bares might be fun.
How about Smurfs?
...I can help run too, but I have a couple other games in mind... maybe we can connect them?
