AMDAL
"Locked. I'll get Theo," he pauses, "unless you think you can batter it down."
Theodric continues to stand guard at the door. However, in short order, his boredom gets the better of him. Theodric picks up a rock off the ground and throws it in a random direction.
SpoilerBah. Too boring to not post. So I just put in some filler. :D
Torrim steps forward, and concentrates. "3. 2. 1." He jumps onto the door, slamming it with his shoulder as hard as possible.
SpoilerCan I get an aid another check? Take 10 to give a +2.

FAIL!!!
Rolling a Stealth to have done that silently. Can I take ten?
If not:

SpoilerRollan some perception checks:

SpoilerSam, next time you'll know to get Theo. :P
Oh, and I have a feeling the perception checks Necco made and hid from us are those of the people inside. If any of them rolled a 16 or higher, then you just got caught.
I do get a +5 for being on the other side of a wall, though.
SpoilerAnd they get a +God-knows-what for you trying to hide ramming into a door.
Oh, well, that too.
SpoilerThat actually probably nullifies your +5 bonus since they're rolling Listen checks, not Spot checks. Therefore, it doesn't matter which side of the door you're on.
Erm, you don't get a spot check to see through a wall.
Spoiler...Oh right. But still, since the sound of you ramming into a door came from the door itself, it doesn't matter which side who's on. It's equally audible on all sides.
Spoiler
If you're going to be talking OOC in the IC thread, at least use spoiler tags, guys. :p
Butchyeah, since the source of sound is the door itself it would negate the bon...well, the penalty they would normally be taking for being on the other side of a wall.
SpoilerNecco, we're waiting on you, y'know.
Spoiler
Oh, pbp...this awkward silence would have been a minute at most at a table. :p
Don't know what you're expecting of me at this moment, though.
Still on you folks at the moment.
Door's still closed, time hasn't really progressed past Torrim slamming into the door.
"Well... I suppose that they didn't hear? I'll wait for you to bring Theo, and then we'll get this door open."
AMDAL
Amdal appears by Theodric's side "Hey. We need a door open. Can you go inside, take a left, and open that door for us? Someone on the other side locked it, so be careful."
"Okay!" Theodric follows Amdal to the locked door, and rams into it with all his force.
SpoilerSorry, I thought we needed you for something. But looking back now, I forgot what it was. Oh well. >_<
Strength check to break door: [roll0]
P.S. Looking back, what I said, however wrong, did manage to push this thread forward some. So it did have some use. :D
The fighter's weight and strength is easily more than enough to handle the wooden door. As Theodric's shoulder slams into the door it warps, cracks, splits, and flies apart all in an instant. The room on the other side is rather dark but several crates can be seen lying about. In the center of the room stands a young girl, likely in her teenaged years crying silently over what appears to be the body of a middle-aged merchant. Silently she stands in the middle of this room, tears rolling down from her eyes she mouths the word 'daddy.'
"****." Torrim runs in, checking for anyone else other than the girl. "Which way did they go, miss?"
He turns to Theodric, then changes to Amdal. "Find Dastria, bring her in, fast. Some people here need help."
AMDAL
Amdal's heart wrenches at the sight of the scene in the room. "Cleric. Right."
He scampers off in the direction Datria went, calling her name.
Spoiler
Hm...I suppose give me a perception check to try to find her and give me a...d6, as well.
SpoilerIs the 1d6 for the number of rounds? Or are you going to be cruel and have it as number of hours?
SpoilerAh, the terrible days of an extra random unnamed roll... Roll well, my friend, whatever that may be.
Edit: it's probably minutes.
Spoiler*is praying to Golarion's local god that Necco decides it'll only take four rounds as opposed to four minutes or possibly four hours*
SpoilerOr maybe 4 days.
SpoilerHah. Don't worry, Necco just posted in the OOC saying it'd only be four rounds. Thank God.
Dastria and Gartrand -
It doesn't take horribly long for you to find a nearby local, an older man...likely a dock worker. His face is aged by hard labor and the harsh living conditions the people in this area suffer through and his body has been made strong by overcoming these limits placed upon him by his unfortunate birth. He does not seem too horribly likely to budge in a conversation, but is the only person you were capable of finding that might have the information you have sought.
Theodric and Torrim -
While Amdal is off to fetch the others, what do?
SpoilerWaiting on the girl to answer my question, still.
