I know what you're talking about. Not because I've ever seen Brainpowered though. I just play Super Robot Wars and they've featured that series before.
I don't think Jim is the kind of guy who gets really upset about the death of a character. :smallwink:
Personally, I really like that they took Anakin and Padmé's big falling-out in the movie and made it into something that brought Annie and Jim closer together.
Opposed to popular believe alcohol is not a good solution for problems... fire on the other hand often is
Is Annie rolling damage die for that, or...? Also, short session next time, it seems.
It pays to have a session dedicated to denouement and tying up loose ends. This campaign is more or less over, with the main villain "dead" and his NPC lackey in charge, so they just need to have everyone work out how they're dealing with it. Plus, the break gives time for Annie and the GM to work out one final knife-twist to Anakin's story.
That said, I wonder if Jim is going to fail at some roles for childbirth, or if he just decides this would be an appropriate way to end with another attempt at a dramatic death.
Hmm I kind of hope Jim isn't Leia in A New Hope, because Leia doesn't do anything in the entire movie besides be a Prisoner and that would mean that Jim either won't be attending the Majority of sessions or would only doing commentary on other player's actions like he did in Episode III. I kind of want him to be Chewie or Han so he can play another character like Qui-Gon.Quote:
rofl. I can see it happening too. Actually, I see jim playing leia. After all, he has developed a taste for diplomatic power, and admit it, you can just SEE how jim would handle the first meeting between her and vader. Vader goes into his speech about rebel action and stealing plans.
Jim: I roll for initiative!"
DM: "Wait, what? You have no weapons!"
Jim: "Oh, ok then, I try for diplomacy."
DM: "Ok, roll"
/rolls a 1
DM:" Ouch, critical failure, here is what you say to him"
Leia: "Ah, lord vader, I thought I recognized your stench." (or whatever the actual line is)
Anyone else get the feeling by Jim's Comment that Annie is going to be Han in the Next Episode, though. I mean Han is a smuggler thats kind of like a Pirate.
I'm kind of hoping Jim is Han. He says that Annie should play a Pirate, but it's not far from that to Annie saying no, then Jim saying "Fine in that case I will, cause Pirates are awesome"
Also if Jim has Han talking like a pirate it will be hilarious.
Well, its been a full session. Lets stop for tonight.
I liked the part where everything caught fire!
No, Pete's die! I AM SALLY HEAR ME ROAR!
Dunno... I guess if Anni follows the advice and becomes Han it would be fitting for Jim to be Leia... but that would leave Luke to... Ben? No. Sally?! PETE?! All that, considering they won't swap around the characters a lot more... you know, no offense to the plot at the moment but I'm most excited about the original trilogy's characters.
Is there something going on between Pete and Sally? They've had a lot of interaction lately and Sally seems to really like Pete...
Maybe a little closer in age, but yeah.
If anything, Pete's gettin' closer to bein' Older Brother 2.
Im pretty sure several years have passed since the phantom menace. So I think sally is a teenager now. Still too young for pete, but old enough to be able to pull off jokes like that last one.
Hm... no, I don't see any romance there. maybe their wackyness brought them closer on a friendly level. I don't know how old they are but probably still about half a decade at least apart. (Not that this wouldn't work but that's the absoluteminimum and I think it's more like ten years)
I was thinking Pete was much older than Sally too, thanks for confirming. They are perhaps just buddies because they have similar maturity levels, maybe... :smalltongue:
Why are they friends? Giving Pete The Little Prince to read because The Prince would be too much for him is a rather cruel joke, for which Pete completely fell.
Pete gave Sally The Prince earlier. That's why she's saying "Pete! I brought you a book this time!" Sally has been reading it, or at least its back cover blurb.
What Jim careing about roleplaying, what is the world coming to. :smalleek:
Jim is roleplaying for the sake of roleplaying. The sign is nigh.
I have to agree with you guys... I think I will go and spend all my saved up money and enjoy it before the world ends... Or at least all my in game money before the role playing world collapses.
Jim just cares about a girl who cares about roleplaying.
Good lord, next thing you know they'll be playing an RPG without dice!
Well, now we know the timeframe of the next campaign, twenty years into the future.
