I don't think he has a wife. Here, he says he's "tight with a chick on Alderaan who's into kids', which would be a really odd way to describe someone you're married to even for Bail.

He also calls her moon flower, which I think is the equivalent of calling her honey.

Which would work just as well for a girlfriend/squeeze as an actual wife.

Yeah, but if she's his girlfriend, I'm wondering how he managed to get a girlfriend. :smalltongue:

Can you imagine a girl who wouldn't fall for that jiggy fat cat who knows all the sweet street lingo? Sticking it to the Man by hiding his Jedi?

Re: Darths And Droids 2: Should've Gone to Naboo
In the transcript at the bottom of the page it has her name listed as "Breha Moon-Flower", so it seems it's not actually a term of endearment. Bail is keeping it strictly for his Jedi. :smalltongue:

Careful of what you wish for Sally, you just might get it.

Re: Darths And Droids 2: Should've Gone to Naboo
So what's left? Ben arriving on Tattoine and handing off Luke to his relatives? How many strips left do you guys figure? 3 or 4 ish?
-
Re: Darths And Droids 2: Should've Gone to Naboo
And possibly a couple NPC wrap-up flashbacks/explanations from the DM.
-
Re: Darths And Droids 2: Should've Gone to Naboo
My guess is another week or two of wrap up, then a break for a start on the next trilogy with the New Year. If I remember right we've had a break between movies before, so it doesn't seem too far fetched, assuming there is some GM wrap up stuff as mentioned by someone else above.

If I didn't know better, I would think Jim took over the DMing for this scene.

I didn't notice before, but apparently the Lars farm is in the rural Midwest or Wyoming.

Is anybody else creeped out by her eyes?

That's it, then. End of the first trilogy.
Famous last words, much? Heh.

Finally! This third season was a big disappointment, compared to the previous two. I'm glad it's over. Hope they have good things planned for the next movie.

I think it was a bit disappointing, but that's because of the difficulties of the material in Episode III - most of the characters are split for a lot of the time, the movie has a drawn out ending, etc. There were high points too, though - Anakin and Palpatine's rise to power was much more interesting here than in the movies. I think with the simpler, more straightforward A New Hope coming we are bound for a really good new "season" of Darths and Droids.

Re: Darths And Droids 2: Should've Gone to Naboo
So, speculation about who's playing who in the next movie?
R2-D2: Obviously Pete
C3PO: Probably Sally
Obi-Wan: Probably Ben
So that leaves us with Luke and Han for the opening cast.
Given that Luke is probably the more RP heavy role, I suspect that it'll end up going to Annie with Han (as the more action-y role) going to Jim.
That said, it leaves me to wonder how the romances would develop, since that would lead to Jim flirting with Ben (who would be the obvious choice for Leia since Obi-Wan has just died giving her the opportunity to be upgraded from NPC status)
-
Re: Darths And Droids 2: Should've Gone to Naboo
What about a character swap- with Obi-Wan's player switching over to Leia during the escape scene, and having agreed beforehand that Obi-Wan will be killed fighting Darth Vader, as part of a "cutscene" for the others to witness?
-
Re: Darths And Droids 2: Should've Gone to Naboo
Obi-Wan / Leia: Ben
Luke: Annie OR the old GM with Annie becoming new GM
Han: Jim
R2D2: Pete
C3PO / Yoda: Sally
Chewie: New player?!
-
Re: Darths And Droids 2: Should've Gone to Naboo
Wow their intermission is going on a week longer than even I expected. 5 weeks off seems like a really frikken long time.
-
Re: Darths And Droids 2: Should've Gone to Naboo
Well, that puts them about into the new year. They've been chugging along pretty good; taking the holidays off isn't that bad. They might be rebuilding the buffer as well.

Nah, I'm thinking Sally for Chewie. She created them (and him I believe?) after all.

Re: Darths And Droids 2: Should've Gone to Naboo
Han could be a ranger with Chewie as an NPC animal companion...

Yeah, I don't see Chewy as a character either... he'd be a mute or something. Probably something along the lines of animal companion.

So Pete plays Chewy?
And Chewy is not an animal companion. He's a cohort.
-
Re: Darths And Droids 2: Should've Gone to Naboo
Crazy theory: Pete continues to 'mentor' Sally, and she ends up playing Han in the next game - her first attempt at a minimaxed munchkin character, with Chewie as her cohort.

"Hey, I took 'No Force Sensitivity,' 'Arrogant,' and 'Massive Debt (Criminal Warlord).' That's twenty extra points to spend on NPC allies and weapon skills!"
-
Re: Darths And Droids 2: Should've Gone to Naboo
Han actually makes a very good character for Sally. Since Jim shouldn't be playing Leia again, that role would fall to Ben. Which leave Jim with Luke.
That all sounds like it would be hilarious.
Unless we also see some new players.

Pete plays R2, of course. He's exactly the kind of person who would play the same poewrful character again.

I thought Han was officially force sensitive, just not strong enough or whatever to actually train that talent. I seem to remember reading something like that about the EU.

Re: Darths And Droids 2: Should've Gone to Naboo
It would be amusing if the whole Boba-captures Han plot arises because of a GM switch. "Lucas" was pretty passive about enforcing Pete's flaws (and probably wouldn't deliberately target his sister anyways), but Annie being at the helm could be a different story due to her RP-centric focus and lack of familial attachment.
