And this is on page 21 of this thread.
The Giant is amazing with his planning skills.

It's page 28 if you have the standard '15 posts per page' set. :smalltongue:

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
Huh. I'm so used to the page numbers other people talk about not meaning anything to me that I didn't even bother to check, or I would have noticed that archon_huskie has them set the same way I do.

The alligator man is taking a smoke break in the last panel of 391.

And that may actually be an A-Team reference--I'm pretty sure Hannibal did that in a quite similar costume.

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
Notice Strip #760, first panel. I didn't get what that meant until I suddenly realized that a "flan" is a type of custard. If the bottom of the E burned out, that would make "flan".

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
the Ranger in the latest strip have extra long(?) boots. Up to the thighs perhaps?

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
Spoiler from a NCftPB bonus comic.

"Shelby" mentioned in
#824 is most certainly "Shelby the Dragonslayer"

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
Well. Reading today's strip, I noticed the angled perspective in panels 1 through 6 and noted I had seen that before here. I had always waved it (the last panel being angled) off as for, like... composition purposes.
I never realized, well, duh, they're going uphill. Because their base is in the mountains.
Derp.

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
Either Xykon's phylactery changes color from black to white sometime before the attack on Azure City, or Redcloak is hiding the real one.

Captain Hook is from Peter Pan.

Isn't the color dependent on whether he's inside it at the moment?

Redcloak before Xykon gets blown up.

Phylactery before the attack on Azure City.

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
It's just a redesign. I think as of strip #414. It's also white throughout all of SoD. In the print of WaXP, it was retroactively redesigned for earlier strips, but he accidentally skipped strip #331, leaving a very minor continuity error because bonus strip #320a has the redesign.

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
Right, but it's 30 posts per page, not 15.

Panel 4
The traitor (intentionally?) missed his shot.
That's AWESOME foreshadowing.

Oh.
Now I feel both stupid and disillusioned.
If you need me, you'll find me crying in the corner.

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
I came close to bringing that up myself, but then I noticed that he shot someone in the sixth panel anyway. It would have been pretty awesome if he had been shown as missing everything.

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
While looking up references for a debate I'm in, I somehow just now noticed that Azurites use chopsticks.

Even for pancakes, apparently, which must be pretty hard.

Oh, and I just noticed that strip #401 and #720 have the same title.

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
I've just noticed that in 662 Tsukiko is wearing slippers. Heh.

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
I just realized something. The oracle reminds me of a certain magician from the Xanth series. You go through 3 challenges before you ask your question except in this comic the challenges never change and you pay cash instead of doing a favor.

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
So apparently Nui is completely prepared against a literal skeleton crew
-
Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
In 824, during the attack in panels 4, 5, and 6, the polymorphed hobgoblin spy w the crossbow manages not to kill any of the hobgoblin group - he fires only one shot, which misses.
Nevermind. I see that it has already been discussed.

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
I never noticed that the 3 resistance groups were colour-coordinated. If you look at their respective redshirts, Haley's group has dark blue belts, Robed Guy's group has light blue belts, and Eyepatch Chick's group has purple belts. Though while typing this I went back and saw that all Azurite soldiers had the same belts as Haley's group, so that probably just means they didn't bother to differentiate themselves, while the other 2 groups did because they hated each other and Haley's group.
