"My mummy was a beholder, and my daddy was a big strong drow part of the local harem for our high priestess of Lolth."
:smallfrown:
Nah, SuperDark, you are potentially the winning square!
To get the answer they needed to go deeper. :smallamused:
My dad is an evil beholder GM...
"But my mummy is a beholder."
Aren't little kids cute? :smallamused:
:smalltongue:
Are you implying that Cassie only has one mother and one father? Kind of a narrow outlook, don'cha think?
The llama steps out, dressed in his best, and steps up to the host podium.

Well, I ummm...its been awhile, but I think I have a question here that may work, and if it doesn't, then Lex can void it and ask another one.
Everyone knows that Zeb the Troll's son's account name on the boards is Puddingtroll, but what is the name of his daughter's account? Oh wait...dang it, I already asked that one. Hmmmm...oooh, we're doing movie trivia this game. That's cool. Okay, the category is families. Hmmmmm....Oh! I got this. Disney is well known for family films like Pinocchio and Robin Hood and Lilo and Stitch. According to IMDB trivia (that's usually accurate, right?), which Disney movie was the least expensive to make? I ummmm...well...I'll there are lots of them, so I'll give you a hint. It was made before 1965.
Was that okay, Lex?
Hmmm. There's quite a few disney ones. Beauty and the Beast was the first one to go cgi-ish, iirc, which would have cost quite a bit at that time. Plus add in inflation and the cheapest would probably have been one of the earliest ones. I'm gonna say Sleeping Beauty.
Oh wait! I asked the question. That means I have to press the button. Crap! I forgot how much I hated the button.
SpoilerBBBBZZZZTTTT!!!!
Actually Sleeping Beauty was the most expensive Disney movie to be made at that point.
Dumbo was the answer. Here is the IMDB factoid from Dumbo's entry.
Quote:
A very tightly budgeted, scripted, and produced film, because Walt Disney needed the film to bring in much-needed revenue after the expensive failures of Pinocchio and Fantasia. Final negative cost of Dumbo was $813,000 (making it the least expensive of all Disney's animated features), and it grossed over $2.5 million in its original release (more than Pinocchio's and Fantasia's original grosses combined).
Okay.....ummmm....I forget what happens next?
Well, Bladescape chose to agree with the wrong answer, so TheCountAlucard gets the square.
And also gets to choose the next Square and Category.

:3 Sorry Bladescape. You should know not to trust cute little kids. :smalltongue:
I'll go with that forum-moderator guy... Roland! Err, I mean, Zeb!
Might help if you also pick a category.
:smallfrown:
Told you I'm not good at this.:smalltongue:
Awwwww.... i actually thought ill particapate in this...:smallfrown:
Alrighty, this is from Absolute Power. One of my favorite Clint Eastwood..... Well, there's almost no such thing as a bad Clint Eastwood movie. Almost. Space Cowboys.
The story of this movie is that Luther Whitney (Clint Eastwood) witnesses a murder during a robbery of a very powerful man, and then is set up as the killer.
Halfway through the movie, Det. Seth Frank (Ed Harris) takes Luther's daughter, Kate (Laura Linney) to see Luther's home. A place she's never been to before, so she doesn't have a key.
Zeb, the question is: Where do they find the key?
Oh, I remember this one. It wasn't one of my favorite Clint Eastwood movies and I found it rather forgettable for the most part, partially because the thing was so cliche. They found the key under the doormat, where any reasonably competent moron would leave a spare key to their home in a bad movie. (full disclosure, I liked Space Cowboys actually...)
That sounds about right. Alucard agrees.
SpoilerBZZZZZZZZZZZTTT!!! Nope, the correct answer is....SpoilerLuther hid the key in a potted plant, on a rail or barrister, to the left side of the door.

The key was inside a barrister? How did they get it out?
No, the key was IN a plant; the plant, in turn, was ON a barrister. I don't know why Eastwood's character had a barrister just standing around outside his home, though - seems to me that would get expensive fast.
