Not denying that. I'm just saying that it's watchable in spite of the fact. Had they used pretty much anyone else, the viewability of the movie would skyrocket.

Oh, seriously. I thought that a question about a movie about the lovely bewitched series *nods to deathslayer7* would have been the typical trick question regarding about Darrren having 3 actors play him, two in the original and of course Will Ferrell in the movie. We all know that Endora in the original series was only played by one fabulous actress - Grace Kensington - who was also known for a short while as playing Grandma Louise Brady on the Brady Bunch.
Methinks it would have been wise to ask for a question I knew anything about.
Agree!
Bushranger, choose a category. Lady Tialait is your Square, like it or not. :smallamused:

By the way, is it too early to ask if I can play in a future game? :smallconfused:
Sure, you can ask. But you hav to wait 24 hours after this game officially ends to volunteer to be a Square or Contestant.
Bedazzle me, Lady Tialait!
Lady Tialait, what is the Mathematical Homework that Elizabeth Hurley (the Devil in the 2000 version) erases during the classroom scene?
Um...Math homework? Was it the black hole theory? No..that doesn't make any sense.
Maybe it was 2 + 2 = 4...or Fermat's Last Theorem you know, the problem people sold their souls to solve...Maybe it was Fermat's Last Theorem yeah, i'll go with that.
Hmm. I have the feeling I shouldn't....but I'ma gonna Agree.
The original was a favorite of my mother in law...and I have seen it over a thousand times. But the 2000 version I've only seen once...so thanks for the vote of confidence.
Spoiler[color="DarkOrchid"]Ding! Ding! Ding! That was the correct answer. You have chosen wisely, my friend.

We need 2 new Contestants and 9 new Squares.
It has been pointed out to me that posting to be on the waiting list may discourage new players from joining. So I ask that the Current Squares and Contestants wait 24 hours before posting their interest to be in the next game. Thank you.
Exception: If a Square isn't asked a question in the course of the game, they are allowed to forego the 24 hour waiting period?

And I have another question to put to the people:
If someone reaches five squares, and there is no chance for the opponent to win by conventional means (3 in a row), should the game end there?
The positives: Everyone will get a chance to be asked a question.
The negatives: Winning these squares will not affect the outcome. And those players can't go on to play in the next game, immediately, since they have been part of the game.
Either way, dibs on a square.
Perhaps the player who no longer has a chance to win can concede if they so desire and any unused squares would not have the "wait 24hrs" restriction. If the losing player wants to continue, however, I don't think there's anything wrong with allowing it.
In either case, I'd like to request a square, as well.
I would like to be a contestant, if you please.
Good game BR.
Indeed! T'was fun. ^_^
I enjoyed it.
Square me again.
The Emperor would like to claim a square.
I also feel once a player cannot win, the game should end. Otherwise it'll always be a 9 question game, and then it stops being Playground Squares.
Since the squares not asked a question get a quasi-dibs on the next round, the game should probably end.
After all, people want to be contestants too!
Not me this round though. I have an arch-nemesis.
I'll be a square.
Contestant, if its free.
If not, if there's an open square, I'd dig that.
Ah, well - guess I'll wait 'til next match.
It seems to me that, being a game, it can and should be allowed to end once a winner has been determined.
Whether or not "secret squares," or other factors that could still swing the outcome late in the game, should IMO be treated as a separate question.
Square me please, if there's still room!
Somewhere near Mordy if'n it suits, so I can throw stuff at him easier.
Could I please borrow a square? I promise to return it in only a slightly used fashion...
