Re: Questionable Content 4: Attack of the 60-Inch AnthroPC
Awww, that's sweet. AND an amazing testament as to how far Hanners has come...
It would appear 300 year old whiskey isn't all that good.
Lt. Potter is STILL blitzed??? Wow, I hope they've got a cure for hangovers. Give HER the 300 year old whiskey, at this point she might not even notice!

Re: Questionable Content 4: Attack of the 60-Inch AnthroPC
Presumably she just never stopped drinking. It takes a lot of booze to erase the memory of refusing five million dollars on principle.

Pun intentional?

Re: Questionable Content 4: Attack of the 60-Inch AnthroPC
That's really pretty cool, I bet that's the best gift he's ever gotten.
Also, dang, Mr. Ellicott is really short isn't he? O.o

Apparently not, because I can't figure out what pun I made.
Next Comic: Dr. Ellicott is so shocked, he has a heart attack and dies. On his birthday. Because his daughter hugged him.
OH THE DRAMA.

You are a terrible, terrible squid-person. Don't even joke about that!:smalleek:

Re: Questionable Content 4: Attack of the 60-Inch AnthroPC
I. . .I think I am going to cry that was so beautiful.
We know Hanners had, has severe OCD,and that it was even worse growing up.
That was probably the first hug she has ever given him.
I loved how simple that moment was. No fancy dialogue, not even much in the way of fancy art.
Just a nice simple, yet profoundly touching, no pun intended, moment.
Hanners, you rock.
-
Re: Questionable Content 4: Attack of the 60-Inch AnthroPC
Well, now we know which parent Hanners got her mercurial temperament from. :smallwink: Hopefully this gets sorted out right away. Mr. Ellicott probably isn't all that dangerous but his army of attack robots sure are.:smallamused:

Re: Questionable Content 4: Attack of the 60-Inch AnthroPC
Que Marten responding with a "I'm not schtupping ANYONE!" and one of the female scientists becoming interested in him, not showing it for a while, and giving Hanners a love letter to give to him right before they go back.

Nah. Marigold already hooked up with a scientist... would be too much.
Still, nice, and a little overprotective from Daddy's side... but that was to be expected.
So, another reason the two won't hook up, Daddy would fire his orbital laser at Marten :smalltongue:
I like Lt. Potter... I'd wish her to stick around...

It could happen. She got drunk on the job, kicked out, and needs a place to stay. Hanners offers to help out since its sort of their fault because thier presence triggered the chain of events, so now they are roomies and she is part of the group! HOORAY FOR MORE ESTROGEN! Seriously, can marten get one regular qc cast member thats a guy? Steve was ok, but he tends to vanish for a year or two at a time. He barely has more face time than amir.

Re: Questionable Content 4: Attack of the 60-Inch AnthroPC
Questionable Content is a "harem" comic, but Marten is a eunuch.

He is in a sarlaac pit of platonic frustration. At least i think thats how he described his situation. :p And considering he and dora were together in the pornographic sense, i dont think eunuch is the right term.

Re: Questionable Content 4: Attack of the 60-Inch AnthroPC
What's it with american fathers and being so absolutely overprotective of their daughters that it borders on the pathological, even when they're adults?
I mean, shouldn't he be happy if Marten was "schtupping" his daughter, as that would mean she's gotten alot (I mean A-L-O-T) better?
-
Re: Questionable Content 4: Attack of the 60-Inch AnthroPC
No because he's a bum who doesn't even know how to calculate happiness indeces.

Exactly. I don't even have a daughter yet (nor am I American) but I already know no boy will ever get to stick his thing in my baby unless I can prevent that! Admit it, we are all bastards and none of them will hurt my little girl! :smallfurious:
Well... Angus has gotten quite a bit of screentime lately but.. the comic is mostly about Marten and the girls surrounding him, I guess.. I wouldn't mind more dudes but meh.

I still want to meet Vladek.

I always chalked it up to how much Jeph enjoyed drawing breasts.

I got the impression that Jeph was more about the butt.

Don't be crass. The man has a disease.

Well, I learned new word today.
And like so much colloquial Yiddish, it's a good'un.

I dunno, that's a little creepy. You want Grandkids don't you?
I mean, I've done the big scary older brother routine a few guys, but now my little sister is grown up, I'm not threatening every guy around. It's more like a boss challange, pass the test, if you are an alright guy.
After all, if they are scared off just because her brother was friends with the head of the local gaming club and they keep hearing stories about how I hunt with bows, has joined the army and the first time they meet me they see my tattoo's while I clean some of my knives, then they aren't going to last long with my sister.
I expect it'll be the same when I have kids.

Why should you be involved in her decision making process at all? If she is an adult you should trust her to make her own decisions, and perhaps advise her but not attempt to intimidate those she has chosen -_-
But that poor marigold. I hope we don't have to watch much aftermath here, watching extended awkward scenes is painful for me.

Unfortunately they probably don't have the emergancy formal attire like that one bar, which I can't find in the archives. At any rate, I persume things will go well from here on - one of the worse imaginable things happened already, so they can check it off on the screw-up list and focus on the better ones.
