Re: Questionable Content 4: Attack of the 60-Inch AnthroPC
Clinton: First met, 1898; first hint of creepiness, 1900. 3 pages from intro to a creepy page. (he's also in 1899)
Hanners: First met, 515; first hint of creepiness, 528. 8 pages from intro to a creepy page. (516, 518, 519, 522, 524, 526 don't have her) Though page 525 could be argued from poor humor to creepy.
Additional things;
Clinton kept doing creepy things before getting kicked out of the room. Then is creepy again the next time he shows up.
Hanners was/said some weird things before leaving by herself. Then shows up next looking for Marten to give him a little doll she made.
Hanner's intro also had cutaways to the rest of the main cast at the same time (as noted before).
Also, found Dave and Helen from Narbonic.

Dunno, "time before turning creepy" doesn't really sound like a legit argument to me, but if it is to you... meh.
Ah, go on and hate him, see what I care
I just noticed Hanners smoked at her first appearance. I guess i's not that big a deal but it still feels totally out of place/character for me.
edit: Go, Marigold!

Well think about it. We get to see this new character interact with marten and crew for several pages before anything unusual comes up. It lets us start to like her before we see some of her insanity. Much like with faye. We dont learn about her psychosis for a pretty long time, so it doesnt become the focus of her character. Clinton was just a creepy bastard from the start, and he stayed that way. Hannerlore never struck me as really creepy, more very socially inept but trying hard.

I would agree that smoking seems odd for Hanners, but I gather than many OCD sufferers do, the nicotine has odd, alleviating effects. Once her prescriptions were changed and her behavior became what we're used to, she might have tossed the cigarettes but be using a patch...

Admittedly but maybe because I read way after Hanners was introduced she came off as creepy towards me just as fast... (what with not waiting a week and so on) Maybe I just have more tolerance towards creeps..

Maybe we'll even get some dry humping?

UNLEASH THE HORMONES!
Marigold has had lots of time to fascinate about this, there is a lot of built up energy here. She doesn't think all that often anyways, but this is going to shut her brain shut down.

Took me a while to realize that wasn't Marten. Looks a lot like him.

Today's strip makes me happy. Waaay too many parallels with my circle of friends.

I think that's because a lot of the male characters have the same face and body shape. Take a look at Hanner's dad and don't tell me that doesn't look like Martin 40 years from now.

Re: Questionable Content 4: Attack of the 60-Inch AnthroPC
I thought it was Sven.
And there was Faye among the scientists, too.
Fact is, Jeph Jacques cannot do character design for people who aren't 20/30-something. Also, he doesn't have a wide range of body types. Males pretty much all have the same body, females vary a bit between "quite thin" and "kinda chunky", but there's nobody who's really smaller or taller than anybody else, and there's no unhealthily overweight or underweight people.
So at that point I identify Marten as "the one guy who's black-haired" and that's it. (That means this guy here wasn't Marten, he was Sven.)

Love child of Sven and Marten.

There's Tai and Samantha on the smaller size, and there's Elliot on the larger size. There isn't a lot of variance, but saying that there is nobody smaller or taller is stretching it.

Oh, those wild and crazy kids, spending the whole night in the throes of passion... over weather. They KNOW how to live!
Glad to see Abbie recovers fast. That she's able to eat breakfast after an all night bender is a good sign.

Stupid butterfly effect myth... Ah, whatever...
Well, I guess better watch weather patterns than puke at your flirt. Also, nice gif there.

No wonder Station and Hanners get along so well.

EEEEEEEEEEEEE
Adorable. Though, I wonder if this is going anywhere or just to please us/Marigold for a short while.

I'd say EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE just about covers it.

Is it just me, or did Hannelore's eyes grow in the last panel?

Re: Questionable Content 4: Attack of the 60-Inch AnthroPC
As a comic character, her facial features are exceptionally elastic.

Re: Questionable Content 4: Attack of the 60-Inch AnthroPC
I'm not quite sure what they were up to today... of course even I am aware of 'becoming a woman' but a 'woman of the world'? Aaaaah, whatever
Marigold has reached... what is that? 2nd 1/2 base?

In the parts of the UK I'm from, we'd call that 1st 1/2, maybe approaching 2nd.
Does this mean we have lower standards? :smalltongue:

Re: Questionable Content 4: Attack of the 60-Inch AnthroPC
First base is tongue to tongue.
Second is hands to breast
Third is hands or lips (based on who you're talking to) to genitals
And home is... obvious.

What's second base for women?
