Re: My Little Pony: Avatar Is Magic II
Hello there! I'm new to the fandom. I'd like someone to ponify me, as I'm too lazy to learn to draw ponies. :smalltongue:
Gender: Male.
Type: Unicorn.
Coat color: Blue (exact shade is up to the artist).
Mane color and style: Reddish-brown and curly.
Eye color: Blue.
Cutie mark: Quill and inkwell. I'll let the artist decide if they look better one in the other or side by side.
Pose: Holding (or levitating, whatever works best) a cup of coffee. Apart from this, use artistic license!
Expression: Either sipping his coffee or smiling. (But not both, as I'm afraid it might look silly.)
Accessories or costumes: Cup of coffee. Wears glasses.
If this ever gets done, please PM me, because I won't necessarily be checking on this thread often. The artist will be credited in my sig, of course, unless they request to stay anonymous.
Thanks!

Re: My Little Pony: Avatar Is Magic II
Finally finished updating my OC despite weeks of procrastination and infrequent bouts of actually working on it.
His coat is so soft...
And now I just need to Exalt him...

*Sneaks up, leaves a note under the door, runs like hell*
Gender: Male
Type: Earth pony
Coat color: Sort of like a murky green
Mane color and style: Long, straight, silver.
Eye color: Black
Cutie mark: The British flag
Pose: Stood on three legs, with one pointing at the screen.
Expressions: Utter contempt, as if someone did something very very stupid. And he saw it.
Accessories or costumes: Ideally, a Beret and a huge arse sword.
-
Re: My Little Pony: Avatar Is Magic II
Assuming it's alowed, I would like to change my avatar to fit Exalted week, as in him taking on the mantle of a Abyssal of the Midnight caste.
-
Re: My Little Pony: Avatar Is Magic II
Well... I'll leave that to someone who knows Exalted.

I dunno, that looks more like a huge arse axe...

Dirtytabs: Can't speak for Sgt Cookie, but I assume pointing at the screen referred to the computer screen. As in, pointing at the viewer.

Thank you so much. You just made my day a lot happier.

Re: My Little Pony: Avatar Is Magic II
I made someone's day. Commence happy clap!
And -Sentinel-, I knew he meant to have him pointing at the audience, but what better way to troll is there than by screwing up more than one part of the request? :smallamused:
-
Re: My Little Pony: Avatar Is Magic II
OK, I laughed. The arse-sword thing was brilliant. It's certainly going into the "one for another time" folder. The pony and expression were spot on, though.

After doing my trolling, I like to do one that's a li'l closer to the spirit of the request.

Sorry to look at a gift pony in the mouth, but can the color of the cup be changed? In the avatar-sized version, it's hard to tell that it's a cup, what with the green magic around it.

Edit: Found out how.
Double Edit: Sorry for all the changes. I'm sort of a picky person. Thanks all in advance!

Hnh. I couldn't figure out the "at his side" bit when he has wings (assuming it's a belt or something), so it's on his front leg. As you can see. Also, I don't like putting horns and hats together, so no horn. :smalltongue:

Re: My Little Pony: Avatar Is Magic II
Showing off a bunch of pony art I have done for various folk, of various quality unfortunately. How do they look?
-
Re: My Little Pony: Avatar Is Magic II
It took me a while to get it, but is that first oneSpoiler
Show
Old Man Henderson? With a gnomish pony? That is excellent, and hilarious! It could only be more awesome if he was carrying a shotgun in his other hoof, although I suspect that might be a bit dissonant in terms of tone.
The second one: There are several different ways to take that situation, and all of them are hilarious.
Third one: I can't tell...is that chalk or crayon? Either way, it looks very nice. Very pretty. A bit messy, but eh, all hand-drawn things are unless you are a chalk/crayon god.
Fourth one: This one is clearly the weakest technically. That said, I'd still be ecstatic to find that in my mailbox on my birthday.
If you really wanted me to, I could give various nitpicks on this or that technicality, but I don't want to right now. All of them look lovely, it's clear you put a lot of heart into them. Great work!

Aww, thanks Komodo. If you would like to give any more nitpicks at any point I wouldn't mind. :smalltongue: Yeah, I ended up posting them from best quality to worst, pretty much. The whole lot of them refer to a group of ponyfolk I hang out with over irc. The first is Old Pony Henderson doing a Lion King thing to my gnomish pony named Tranquility over a cliff.
The second is Honey and Rose, and is rather difficult to explain. ^.^' Honey, the little round one, is one of Tectonic Robot's OCs!
The third is actually made with oil pastel, the first time I tried to use it. Yeah, it's messy >.> I should have painted it with water color, if I could find them. It's of two pegasi amidst a dive, though the characters aren't as good as the moon or clouds.
The last one I made really quickly because of time issues and never revisited for some terrible reason. I wanted to get it to a friend of mine before it was no longer their birthday in their timezone x.x

Just to make you feel a little worse, Gnomish, I have... um, words for the first image and Rose in the second. A little warning, really. In the show, the ponies' legs tend to fold a little more smoothly at the knees, like here (males' look different. I'll find one later). They sometimes stretch and do weird anatomical things, but they're always fairly rounded when animated well. If you're looking to get the pony look down, watch out for those knees. I hope that I like the four of these is a given. I just wanted to point something out.
Aside from smaller details in the line 'n' stuff, that's usually the way I tell someone used the avatar creator to reference. Everything I said above is moot if it is generalzoi's pony maker.

Re: My Little Pony: Avatar Is Magic II
I'd love to have a Ponified version of my current avatar (an avian Malkavian) and am more than happy to wait as there does seem to be something of a list already. Makes sense though, because all the pony avatars I've seen have been really amazing!
Gender: Male
Type: Pegasus pony
Coat color: Pale Grey
Mane color and style: Black mane, kinda unruly and unkempt.
Eye color Red!
Cutie mark The Malkavian Clan symbol, like this one here.
Pose: Flying!
Expressions: Evil and crazy.
Accessories or costumes: A straightjacket (which, admittedly, may be somewhat difficult to make for a pony, though I hope it isn't).
-
Re: My Little Pony: Avatar Is Magic II
Actually, I've done a straitjacketed pony before. I believe thubby is still wearing it. It just takes a tiny bit of limb twisting.
