"Yeah, tell us. I didn't think you were into the short and stocky types," Tina says, smirking. She looks up at Kirk intently.
[Beachside]
Kirk rubs his eyes. He's being double teamed. Delightful. "It was nothing. She was a barmaid and I was really drunk." Really really drunk. "I honestly don't remember most of it." So so drunk.
[Beachside]
Dena laughs again, "So I'm guessing you got about fifty babies give or take spread around the world? If you forget to use that every time you're drunk... I mean, you didn't use it with me." She says with a grin. Of course, it was she that told him he didn't need one but details. :smalltongue:
Beachside
"She raises a good question, Kirk. How often do you get really really drunk?" Tina wouldn't be surprised if he had kids all over the multiverse. It's honestly really horrible, if you think about it too much. "At least it'll be the right species this time, huh Dena?"
[Beachside]
"Whoa whoa whoa. Let's not get ahead of ourselves now." The thought of having a bunch of random kids around is honestly a bit terrifying. "This is the exception, not the rule." He almost always uses protection. =x
[Beachside]
"Yeah, but you're pretty old right? Eventually the exceptions starts to pile up, especially if they're elves like yourself. I mean, I haven't had my period this month..." I think they both know she's joking here even is she attempts to fake some concern about this fact.
((*pokes SC toward Inside*))
Beachside
"Oh, good, another little Kirk to propagate your brood," Tina says with a laugh. She really hopes Dena is joking.
((SC is waiting on Harnel in Inside.))
[Beachside]
"I sure hope you weren't lying when you told me that wouldn't be a problem." Kirk sounds unconvinced in any case. Suddenly he moves forward and tries to dunk Dena. Time to put a stop to this verbal onslaught. :smalltongue:
[Beachside]
Pffh, Kirk totally can't take a joke.
The other drow is quick to react this time however seeing how Kirk have reacted to her other 'jokes'. She desperately attempts to swim backwards as fast as she can as he reaches out for her.
"H-hey! No violence against the pregnant woman!" It should be pretty clear from the tone of her voice she's joking now. If these two can hear such things that is.
Kirk could probably dunk her underneath the water in his next post unless he decides against it or something stops him.
Beachside
Tina really doesn't do much for this round. Mostly just ends up laughing at the two of them, doing nothing to help Dena.
I have a feeling she'll get dunked next. >.>
[Beachside]
Kirk is deaf to Dena's protests as he catches up to her and pushes her under. Dena doesn't have to worry, though, he'll only hold her under for a couple seconds. When she surfaces she'll be greeted by his grinning face. "You were saying something?" Fettina is safe for the moment at least.
[Beachside]
Kirk will then get's splashed in the face by Dena who then attempts to grapple him once he have to close his eyes due to the water. If any of this succeeds she will try to duke him into the water as well.
"Tina, help!" Clearly this will be the most epic battle of the ages.
Beachside
Tina... is already gone, by the look of it. Since the water's so clear, it shouldn't be hard for Dena to spot her swimming beneath Kirk. Wrapping her arms around his legs, she attempts to drag him downward with one big yank.
[Beachside]
Even though Dena manages to grapple, Kirk, he still manages to stay above water and is about to try and dunk her a second time. That is until Tina grabs him. He goes under with a yelp. Dena isn't going to avoid the same fate, however, as he's grabbed hold of her.
Beachside - Sand Catapult
"No thanks. I'll point it in the right direction and stuff, though. I honestly don't have any idea how this archaic stuff works. You've probably been around long enough to have a slightly better idea as to what part makes the flingy part go fwoosh."
Magtok pulls out a pair of binoculars that I had no idea he owned, peering off into the distance as he picks out targets. I think it's more for show than to actually check out the surroundings, though. I mean, he has a satellite thingie in space, his red eye probably has its own zoom function, and they were already down there before not too long ago.
"Hrm. About half of the good targets are floundering about in the water. They're all pretty closely bunched together, too. I figure we can get them all with one, maybe two good volleys. Okay, gimme a second."
Magtok puts the binoculars down, nudges the catapult with a foot until it's pointing in the general direction of those goons, puts on a stylish commissar hat, pulls out a fancy saber, and points with the blade at Kirk and his girlfriends in the ocean below.
"Fire!"
While Maggy does all the aiming, Libby takes a moment to ensure that all the bits of slushy are properly organized, such as to be nice and compact during flight.
It wouldn't do if they just kinda...exploded midair, would it?
And then Maggy finishes his aiming, and sends out that heavy, condemning word!
Fire!
There's a faint twitch of space around Libby, shortly before she releases the firing mechanism with that satisfying noise they always make.
Dena, Kirk, and Tina may be very cold shortly, if they don't move too much.
[Beachside]
Well, thankfully at least Dena were submerged at the time of impact which partly lessens it, she still end up drenched in slush though. She quickly let's go of Kirk and swims (or something close to it) away a bit before emerging above the surface once again.
Once she's up she attempts to wash away the worst of the slush in the water while looking to see what has happened to Kirk and Tina. Who in the sands was shooting at them?!
Beachside
Tina resurfaces a moment later, grinning to herself at the successful drow-submersion maneuver, just in time to get a facefull of slushy. Considering the amount and speed with which it was launched, she's knocked back under the water for a moment.
For a moment.
Well damn, moment's up. She comes up spluttering, covered in rapidly melting fruit-ice beverage, which may or may not be liquifying due to the intense internal heat generated by almost cartoonish rage. The augmented musician turns what could best be described as a death-glare on Magtok and Libby, narrowing her eyes venomously.
[Beachside]
Kirk is also partially covered by the water, but not nearly enough to really shield him. He sputters and clears his eyes. "I do. It's none other than the esteemed Lord Magtok." The drow is leveling a death glare of his own. Well, as soon as he swims out of the slush filled area.
[Beachside]
"I've seen him at the auction." Dena admits as she glances at the cyborg in the distance as she still try to wash away the last of the slush in her hair. "He looks even uglier out in the open. Which is saying something." She comments coldly.
[Beachside!]
Libby gives a smiling little finger wave to the now-beslushied trio.
Doesn't really feel like calling out to them, but the wave should do.
The reaper seems pleased enough with the results of phase one. A triple hit an-
Oh hey, doesn't she know that guy? He seems familiar.
Maybe something to look into later.
But for now, Mag-beach-time-stuff. And things. And...stuff.
Keep paying attention Libby! The task at hand!
"I imagine we could hit them again before they get to you."
Co. Without Kirk
Jezebel thinks for a moment. "Well, I can give you a list of names depending on what kind of party you're going to choose. I can promise that they'll be of decent sorts too."
Beachside
Magtok puts a hand to his chin, thinking Libby's suggestion over. If they catch up, get really upset, and point a knife at Maggy or something, he can always blame it all on Libby, can't he? I mean, it was all her idea. Of course, he could blame her even if this whole operation was all his own fault anyway, and wouldn't feel an ounce of guilt for doing so.
He puts his hand down, and then points it at the trio again with a smarmy smirk. He adjusts that silly commissar hat to sit atop his head at a jaunty angle, and says "Affirmative. Open fire, Libby. Give 'em every last smoothie we've got left." Wooooo, war!
[Beachside]
"So it shall be, sir."
Play with that commissar idea, it's amusing.
Maggy will probably never be properly authoritative like that in any situation that's real.
Suddenly, the catapult (which has decided to look decidedly less like the shovel-it-totally-wasn't) is full once more with deadly, horrible smoothie matter.
"Firing!"
With a little fwump, the smoothie matter flies.
Watch it gleam in the skies, just enough to hypnotize*...
Beware, Kirk & Kirk-Lusts, another volley approaches!
*Not really.
((Due to forgetfully instant-posting (that makes sense!) Kirk & Kirk-Lusts are free to assume actions take place before this, at their discretion.))
Beachside
The relatively human-looking Kirk-lust frowns angrily as Libby prepares another salvo. Without turning to Kirk, she growls, "I hope he's wasn't a friend of yours." Past-tense. Ooooo. It's on now.
Tina dives! And not just any dive, in a brief flash of reflected sunlight, Tina disappears completely! A couple off-set rays of light might give her away as she approaches shore. She's a camouflaged landshark headed straight for Magtok.
Her next action will depend on how close the cyborg lord and his lackey are to the water.
Sandbar
Dionysus polishes that same glass thoughtfully, and wonders if Tina's player will remember that she worked for Magtok in the Casino as a pianist.
*coughs* I mean, and watches the playful smoothie launching and water sports that were in no way facilitated by his providing smoothies to an errant death goddess. That's right, there's no way he could be blamed for this one.
After all, he's been polishing this glass the whole time.
Kirk raises an eyebrow at Fettina as she disappears into the water. Last he checked she was not overly fond of violence. The drow notes the next salvo heading his way and dives straight down underwater. Deep enough that he'll be unaffected. Then he starts swimming toward the shore as well.
Being closer to the shore then Kirk Dena simply hurries to the beach as the impact hits the water. As she emerges from the water she shoots another glare at the cyrborg and Libby. "What are you? Five? This isn't a ****ing daycare, go home and play with your goo instead!" She shouts to the two.
The drow have no intent to fight them however no matter how annoyed she is at the moment. She's more concerned about the stuff she left at the moment anyway.
Beachside
Only if you don't count apocalypses and Magbots. :smalltongue:
Anyways, Magtok frowns worriedly, tossing aside his commissar hat and replacing it with his hood as he peers off into the distance. The duo isn't all that close to the water, but at the same time, they're still not quite all the way out on the dunes, either.
"Libby? Is it just me, or did the not-a-drow girl just vanish?"
Beachside
It won't be long before Magtok sees Tina again. She's had a few more augmentations installed since she got hold of all this fake platinum - namely, a few things to help her swim. Improved lung capacity to help hold her breath, folding fins along her back, and even a few water-jets beneath the panels on her arms. Most of her arms are artificial by this point anyway.
Used properly, she can shoot out of water like a cannonball. Magtok and Libby might see a blurry patch of ocean detach from itself to come flying at the cyborg.
Provided she hits home, Tina will tackle Magtok to the beach. She's still camo'd, odd as it must look. The microscopic machines that turn her skin silver are also providing this powerful chameleon effect, but her general shape is easily made out. All the movement and water is making it hard for the poor nanobots to work.
