My friend is trying to get into right now. But it says it's updating tools.
Still on zero percent.
I shall now laugh inwardly at his folly.

Somethings wrong at their end, they're trying to fix it.
It was foolish of them to allow people to acquire it before the server came online.
Surely they would have realised that untold numbers who have been impatiently waiting for months would all try and get on simultaneously?
I got in. Did the first quest, then logged off.
Hi. I'll be in Brisbane on Wednesday May 30th, up until late lunch, if anyone wants to meet up for any reason. I might also be free in the evening on the 29th, depending.
I'm having manly tears of joy right now. I decided to make myself a nice steak dinner for my birthday, and it has worked out so well. I've made a really thick delicious mushroom sauce to go with my medium cooked porterhouse that is really super tender after letting it rest for 10 minutes or so. And I have baked corn and sweet potatoes to go with it.
It's so good. It more than makes up for a water bottle breaking in my bag this morning and drenching everything in it.
Anyone else up at Port Stevens for the triathlon? :smallwink:
Thank you~ It started out crap but at least it's going good now. Now I'm sitting here deciding if I want to get this or maybe this but if I go for the 2nd one then I'm going to get a custom made one and I'm sitting here trying to figure out what I want.
I could get both... which I'm debating... because I'm such a magpie and I wants the shiny, pretty things.
Happy birthday Moonshadow.
And that is one nice dinner you described. Except for the fact that I'm picky when it comes to steak and I'm not in a corn-eating mood.
Thanks~ It was delicious. It was my first time making that sauce and I am so very glad that I used red wine because it made it taste soooooo good and that recipe is definatly going on my to make list again.
Oooh, definitely get the second one! It's pretty
(what? I'm a magpie too)
It is. Though, with the seller offering to make custom ones, I was debating getting that. I was thinking maybe a Roses of May theme, which is basically me ripping off Beatrix's theme from Final Fantasy 9 and trying to make a shiny trinket out of it. No idea how I'll go about it though.
Happy birthday.
Thanks Kat~
I'm posting this from my very trippy new acid green colored Sony Vaio laptop~
It's so shiny and trippy and the keyboard lights up and it runs fast and it stays cold and and and it doesn't sound like a jet taking off. It's so awesome~
Sigh. I'm going into exam week, starting on Tuesday I've got four exams in three days, then three weeks block prac. This will be a very, very long few weeks. :smallannoyed:
But, the bright side is that after that, I have holidays! Woooo!
If I were in Brisbane I would, but I'm not so I shan't.
I'm in Brisbane, but I don't think I'm free on Wednesday.
And even if I am free, my family is in the process of cleaning up the yard, and I'm expected to help despite how annoying I find it.
Still, everything's much tidier now. We finally moved than two year old pile of dirt and everything.
Looks like I missed a birthday in my absence, so happy birthday Moonshadow!
In other birthday-related news, I turned 21 two days ago.
Finally, remember what I said about coming to Sydney? It's actually happening! I'll be at your Supanova this weekend as a BLU Sniper (which is ironically by far my worst class). Please say hi if you spot me!
PS: A bit of a whoopsie happened and has resulted in my lacking a vest for the Sniper cosplay. I'm offering $150-200 to anyone in the area who knows how to sew and is willing to make one for me at such short notice. I have measurements ready to go and everything. I'll leave my Steam profile here in case any of you would like to contact me with it.
Happy Birthday!
I have a job interview on Tuesday! At 8:30am which I'm less than enthused about, but I'll live (especially if I get the job!).
Also, I feel like sharing a funny gaming story, from our D&D game last Sunday.
We have a tendency to take anything and everything that isn't nailed down (and sometimes we take those things too!) - thanks to the one powergamer in the party who is obsessed with loot. The whole thing started over him insisting that we take a bunch of items found in a store room (food, iron ore and a bolt of velvet), worth only a 1-2,000gp (when I myself have over 40,000gp on my own and that's not counting all the magic items and things I've got) just because 'we had the space'.
Then it turned into a conversation about did we or did we not take the bedside table? Table had four diamonds in it, decent sized ones, that were being used to keep an eye on two areas of the fortress. It was decided that yes, we took the bedside table. At the moment, we're keeping it intact, so we can continue to use the magic effects. Eventually, we will remove the diamonds and sell them.
Then we found the library, burned the mysterious bad guy's spell book (after establishing none of us could disable the traps, and after our sorcerer realised one of them was a geas spell, we decided it wasn't worth the risk) and had to make a decision on whether or not we took the various scrolls with us (don't know what's on them yet, Peregrine (yes, my husband is my DM) will roll them randomly later). Which leads to the quote, Peregrine asks us if we're planning to take the scrolls, thinks about it for a minute and says
"You took the bedside table, of course you'll take the scrolls."
Which lead to the warlock's player saying
"Can we go back to the kitchen? I think we left the sink."
Damn. If only I knew how to sew and lived in Sydney...
Also, happy birthday.
Thanks, you two! Sounds like an awesome group, Moreta!
It's been ages since I've been in a D&D campaign.
Well it's been a while since i last posted here.
Hope everyone's been fine and happy bdays all around! Hope you had wonderful days!
As for me I H.A.T.E. uni bureaucracy! I signed up to be a scientist not to fill in dreary forms that ask the same thing three times...
At least I am moving slowly albeit in slow motion...it's progress...at least I have to tell myself that it is otherwise I might as well quite...augh!
Sorry bout the rant.
Now back to happy stuff:

"Volunteers would be required to sit in kitten enclosures with a litter of kittens and sometimes their mother, to play with them and familiarise them with the general handling that they will encounter in the future."
I think the above is a good activity to get rid of stress... a pity it's not a full time job :smalltongue:
Welcome back.
And damn. If I'm reading this right, it's in the ACT.
We are  even if we have ended up in a time-travel campaign. It was quite funny actually, the conversation that ensued when the final plot twist was figured out. Poor Peregrine looked so sad that we'd worked out what was going on. Then he felt really bad when I told him I'd worked it out months (actually - with the length of time this campaign has been running, it's years) ago...:smallbiggrin: (then again, he is my husband, and I'm just as big a nerd as he is and I do know him rather well, so I'm not surprised I figured it out.)
Awwww :smallfrown: I wanted to play with the kitties!
I wonder if the WA branch does the same thing...
Good luck on your job interview, Moreta! I'm rooting for you!
You know? I am actually glad I didn't get that until I'd read through the entire article and then come back and re-read your post.
And I'd just like to point out that my Australian husband doesn't think it makes sense for the $1 coin to be bigger than the $2. That's about the only thing he thinks NZ did right. Of course, it didn't stop him from finding it hilarious, when, the last time we were in NZ, I started pulling out the wrong coins because I got confused as to which was bigger.
I'd just like to point out something about that list...
Nowhere is Woolloomooloo an acceptable place name.
