Erin's Emporium
As Crissy is occupied in another timeline, the Kindly Old Lady will help Zith!
"How can I help you, dearie?"
Erin's Emporium
Zith looks at the Kindly Old Lady, keeping his hood covering his tentacles,"Do you know where I could get a job making weapons? I need a job, and really don't know who employs people that practice my trade."
Erin's Emporium
"Ahh. Well, Erin's isn't currently hiring," the KOL says, "however MagMart, Evolution Industries and the Neutralist Origanisation (NO) might be..."
Erin's Emporium
"I lack the temperament, or...appearance to be a shopkeeper. Thank you for your suggestions. Do you sell weapon schematics?" Zith let his tentacles slide slowly out of his hood, just to hint at his true nature.
[Erin's Emporium]
"Ahh. I see. Well, we do indeed sell them."
She doesn't look disturbed in the least!
[Erin's Emporium]
Zith looks relieved at this, and drew his hood back, revealing his abberant face. He projects his thoughts,"How much do revolver schematics cost?"
[Erin's Emporium]
"Do you mean, for a standard smokeless-poweder projectile weapon? Those are free, dearie."
[Erin's Emporium]
"Free? What other weapon schematics are free?" Zith's mind was rushing to comprehend how he could have over looked this. He gestures to look at this schematics.
[Erin's Emporium]
The KOL produces a PADD loaded with the schematics!
"Essentially most conventional projectile weapons, and stunners," she explains. "They are the simplest and, around here, least likely to be very dangerous weapons..."
Aurora Fountain
The black birdlike thing roosts on top of the fountain, having borrowed some plates from the food count to prevent the water from changing the color of its feathers.
[Erin's Emporium]
There was a clink near the door as an empty bottle of liquor was thrown away into a waste bin near the entrance of the Emporium, a rather fancy name for what looked like an army surplus depot. A well ordered one at least. Ghoul had been meaning to grab something more fitting for a civilian but, then again, she probably would be better off showing up at Remnant dressed for action. Though, would that send a message of being too eager? I mean, sure, it's a military outfit but I think standards will be higher than normal from what I hear. 'Course, just going full casual'd definitely send the wrong message. Maybe something formal. Office skirt? The muse took a moment as she tried to picture herself in a skirt. ....Yeah, no. Pantsuit'll probably be a better bet. Actually, I think I saw an off-white balloon-sleeve top in a window a few minutes ago. That'd look nice with khaki slacks and a belt, I think. Though I should probably pick up what I came here for first.
The muse certainly didn't look like a person who would be having such a line of thought. She did look like she could use a decent pair of pants, though, and maybe a new shirt as well. That wasn't to say she walked in naked, although that might have happened at least once or twice in the history of the establishment, due to an armored and rather skintight bodysuit under her normal wear. Of course, that in and of itself probably would be considered as being 'overdressed' for some Nexus inhabitants.
In any case, Erin has a new customer who was looking at the city combat fatigues.
[EE]
"Um, well, I'm not quite sure what sort of weapons might be useful...perhaps you could browse?" Crissy suggests to the necromancer woman, before hurrying to the newcomer with an expression of relief on the blonde Valley Girl half-elf's face.
"Um, hi! Welcome to Erin's, can I, like, help you find anything?"
You'd fully expect her to pop some gum after that, from her accent and grammar...
Erins Emporium
Silveri'tre walk into this shop now and heads to whoever seems to be in charge. Hello? Id like to order a large load of weapons.
[Erin's Emporium]
Everybody seems occupied at the moment!
The half-elf, of course, talking to a customer and clearly working here will be apparent, as will the elderly Kindly Old Elf Lady.
Erins Emporium
Silveri'tre is dressed in his gold eppilettes and feathered commanders cap. Hes dons a shimmering gold and red cape along with gold boots and red plate mail. Hes waits for a vacancy at the register.
[Erin's Emporium]
"Just trying to find my size... Though what do you have in the way of concealable knives?" the muse asked, picking out a set of fatigues that looked like they would fit close enough at least.
Upon hearing the new customer's sudden request, however, the muse's ears tuned in to follow how things would turn out.
Actually, wasn't it a drow meeting earlier at the Den?
Something to keep in mind at least. Ghoul still didn't want to get involved but it was starting to sound as if something serious was brewing.
'Course, she hadn't heard of them really taking after modernization. Maybe it was a schism thing?
[Erin's Emporium]
"We totally have all kinds of concealable knives, vibroblades, and other types of weapons of that sort," Crissy says, the half-elf giving Ghoul a bright smile. "Is there any specific kind you're looking for?"
[Erin's Emporium
Zith looks a bit,and tells the kindly old lady in a way that doesn't hide his thought speak from the customers,"I will take a schematic for a revolve, and do you have manuals on ways to enchant guns, I am familiar with enchanting swords , and I might need to make several enchanted weapons."
[EE]
"Of course, dearie. The enchanting manuals do have a small cost, though." And the KOElfL quotes the price to Zith. Which is a quite reasonable one!
Erins Emporium
Silveri'tre carries a broken sword.He waits.
[Erin's Emporium]
Zith looks over the enchanting manual,"I will take one...Here is your payment," he withdraws a few silver pieces, and put them on the counter,"I think this will cover the costs."
Erin's Emporium
"Of course. Is there anywhere I can try the weapons and test the accuracy of my minions?" Because there's no point buying a sniper rifle for you zombie and discovering that the zombie can't aim as it lacks the requisite brain power.
[Erin's Emporium]
"It will indeed," the Kindly Old Elf Lady says with a smile. "Is there anything else I can help you with?"
Meanwhile, a plotcloned Crissy nods to the necromancer lady. "There's, um, totally a shooting range in the basement."
Which is actually the shooting range Inside, accessed by teleporters, but it's seperate enough from events there that it can be used here!
[Erin's Emporium]
"No mam, that should be all, thank you," Zith walks to the door with his items, namely schematics, and an enchantment manual. He exited the store, and then left Mallside. He needed a workshop, and he needed people backing him.
Erin's Emporium --> Basement
"Thank you." The necromancer smiles and walks off, the skeleton, zombie and ghoul trailing along behind her. She will pick up a tommy gun, an AK-47, a pair of revolvers, a shotgun, a flail, a longsword, a naginata and some shuriken. They're quickly handed to the undead trailing along behind her as she heads to the basement.
( Is a register open?)
[Erin's Emporium]
"Vibroblades, huh? Nice." the muse said with a slight nod. "Can they be electrified as well?" she asked. It was a nasty thing to ask for, really. Something that could cut through armor and then deliver a shock at the end was going to be highly fatal should the blade penetrate far enough. At the least it would screw up one's heartbeat pretty hard.
Ghoul would be understanding if this question was answered with a 'no.' Some things were just a bit too nasty to let the public have access to them. Though, even if they didn't have a type with that nasty little modification, a standard issue blade like that would be rather useful to have on hand. As strange as it might sound, bringing a knife to a gunfight could be rather prudent. Though, having both a knife and a gun was preferable.
[EE Basement]
And installed in the basement is a Lantean Teleport Booth (aka "elevator"), that whisks them to the shooting range!
Where there's a variety of targets.
[EE]
The KOL looks to the next customer. "Can I help you, sir?" she says, frowning a bit as she notices it's a drow...
Crissy, meanwhile, smiles and nods in answer to Ghoul's question. "They can be - the Taserblade 5000 is the model I believe you're looking for," the half-elven Valley Girl says, turning to lead the way to the Knife Aisle.
Erins Emporium
Greetings, fair maiden. I would like to purchase a large amount of scimitars, whats is the maximum amount of weapons per purchase?
