I played the original for a long time... and yeah, I listened to a ton of tracks myself.
I also love the fact that I'm under 20, and I have nostalgia waves already. Something seems wierd about that.

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
My nostalgia: Warcraft 2 and Portal expansion pack (the time when orcs are forces of evil), civilization 2, starcraft, marathon 2, and Pathways into Darkness (didn't know how to hold a gun at the time). Ironic thing is that I was afraid of games (especially game over screens) and now okay playing videogames (minus horror genre).

That's the reason getting nostalgia from Banjo-Tooie is so weird for me - I am also under twenty, and I'm feeling nostalgia from a game I was playing literally less than a third of my life ago.

I too get nostalgia; but with Ocarina of Time... god I love that game...

I have a love/hate relationship with Majora's Mask; but the freaking Goron racetrack to get the Fierce Deity Mask... I still have nightmares about that.
Are you on exams coffee? Or projects?

Somehow I got that the first time. Basically you've got to be perfectly lined up, and never let go of the button.
Catching up on textbook reading; my first prelim is in 2 weeks.

Yeah, the lucky one that you get... Musta rolled a nat 20.
I remember that I was an ace on Super Mario 64's racing challenges, beat all of them, but absolutely useless elsewhere.

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
The title screen music from OOT still makes me cry sometimes. And hearing the orchestrated Hyrule Field after beating OOT3D.
I've had nostalgia since I was like... thirteenish? I don't even know.
-
Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
Okay, I'm really sorry for the delay, but there should be an update sometime today, probably later tonight.

That's why I got Hyrule overworld theme, Gerudo Valley and Zelda's Lullaby in my Ipod.

Yay! New comic!
Well, there's less to panic about, at least. They're still in trouble, but they're not quite dead yet.

Ahh, Dimensional Anchor. I love how it looks like he got slimed.
Actually, that kinda makes sense. A beam of slimey slime the sticks you to the plane. :smalltongue:

15 years, 8 months, 12 days.. they aren't that old o_O someone (that was) about to become mage general at that age? I dunno man. lol.
I wonder what the significance of it is :) Clueless I am, of course! Of course, now he can't teleport.. I wonder how he plans on escaping and why he thinks he's got time.. I mean, Rust is right on their butt anyway, right? Hrmm.

Well he couldn't have been a palidan ALL his life. Assuming he's twenty he took the class at five. Up to ten if we assume he's in his late twenties early thirties.

But he will be advised by his guardians. Wise, altruistic and farsighted people. Yes. Guided.

Lloyd said all the boys are conscripted into the Kago army when they turn 10. Lexi's 26.

We now know Lexington's Intelligence is 11 or lower. Or he's just being snarcastic.

Thirteen. Paladins get 2+ int mod skill points, and the highest int you can have with a mod of 1 is 13.

He doesn't have three skill points. That's the idea of the joke. And now I killed it. Do I get XP?
-
Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
Or he gets an extra skill point per level, since he's a human. Or 3/4 human, anyway. Stat-wise, I figure all he'd get from his hobgoblin ancestry is a +1 bonus on Move Silently checks and maybe a +1 dex bonus. Which is kinda useless since he's in freaking full plate armor.

Actually you fumbled. He says the last time he had MORE than three.
Although since he's human he gets +1 from that, so you were right on eleven. xD

Uh, you get (Class points + INT modifier) * 4 skill points at 1st level, which was the last time Lexi got more than three skill points. Two from his class, one from being human enough.

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
What level would he be? Approximately?
