Re: D&D Demotivators Episode VI: Return of the JPEG
Shiros sci-fi manga are actually quite different from typical popular shonen manga. But you have to love technology and how it works to truly appreciate them.
He made a manga about cyborgs, military hardware, and brain-internet connections set in 2029. And even though he did it back in 1989, the only things that seem outdated today are the Soviet Union and the haircuts. :smallamused:
The technology still looks like a really good estimation of what we'll have in 15 to 20 years.

That's Filia from Skullgirls, an amensiac girl with a parasite named Sampson that's replaced her hair and helps her to fight for it's own ulterior (and possibly evil) motives.

I don't suppose I could get sources for those? Especially the Space Pirates/Meanwhile/Trapfinding/Demon-Tech ones. Those are awesome.

Vast majority are from deviantart (Space-pirates and Demon-tech), the multi-attack one is from safebooru, but I source images from pretty much everywhere.
Trap-finding is actually from a webcomic, called clockworks. It's pretty neat, with an excellent art style.
Also, If you're looking for the "meanwhile, in sigil" one, you can find it in one of our very own threads! Credit to Tiffanie Lirle

That one is from Super Redundant. I'd like to know where Soft Sci Fi is from.

I love that show!
What? He has Timeless Body, ridiculous unarmed attack damage and attacks of opportunity, and quivering palmthe Wu-Han Thumb of Death.

That is a Luchador Mask not a Mexican wrestler mask (there is difference!)

Wait. I thought "luchador" literally meant "Mexican wrestler"?

The soft sci fi one in from a rarely updated comic called Gone with The Blastwave. Also the origin of the classic image on these threads where a tank is dropped on someone.

Must be that they just don't like the English terms used when the Spanish name of Wrestling is lucha libre, hence the practitioner should be named luchador instead of wrestler. But if you're speaking in English, then Mexican wrestler should be fine. Unless there's a distinction there between two styles, one they call wrestling and another to which they reserve the lucha libre. But I don't know about that.

A "Luchador" is, by "Real Academia de la Lengua Espaņola" (Real Academy of Spanish langauge)
1. A person with fighting spirit.
2. A person who fights
3. A person who fights sportingly (not specified if is wrestling, boxing, sumo, karate or a kind of specific figthing sport).
