I like it in a thematic and general sense. But I don't like it for my build at all. As a matter of fact, I don't much l;ike any of the elites for my build. I kind of wish I/we had the ability to slot a utility skill in that elite slot if we wished.
As it stands, the only one that I find to be somewhat useful for my build is the Glyph of Elementals, and then only because none of the other ones synergize with me at all. Another utility would be of MUCH more use for me, even if the cooldown were increased due to it being slotted in an elite skill's slot.
Wow, where has time gone.
I've currently hit 80's and have about ~85% of Tyria explored. If anyone needs help in exploring zones, feel free to message me.
Also, if I could get an invite to the GitP guild, my name's Treayn.6913.
Anyone try experimenting with off-hand sword on mesmer? Seems to be the most overlooked off-hand so far.
Until now, I hadn't even realised they could weild them in their off hand, neat
...I didn't realize it until BWE 3. >.>
I find it a lot more clutch than the other weapons, but much more fun if you pair it up with the scepter, for 2 blocks, which when timed right create 2 clones.
Then just spawn the sword phantasm let it combo and do damage, and then shatter.
Hopefully you've been attacking with scepter 1, so that you'll have another whole batch of clones ready to go right afterwards.
Do dye do more than just change your clothing color?!
Nope, they're just for aesthetics.
I too would like to join the GiantITP guild. Handle: Morty.4721
Okay, so now that I'm level 80, I need money. :smallfurious:
Suggestions on the best ways to make money? Doing hearts and completing zones in the low level areas isn't as lucrative as I'd like, and there are more of the low level zones than there are high level zones, so...
Also, would anyone be interested in farming Citadel of Flame (Explore Mode) with me?
The trading post is a good way to get money, though the best money is mostly from crafting supplies(other then cooking supplies, excluding onions and carrots for some reason)
Yeah I just sold a bunch of my crafting materials (e.g. cooking supplies, gems, and so on) and made about 3g. Ended up buying myself a nice, new exotic bow.

Now looking to add a different sigil to it. Anyone have any experience with the following sigils?
1) Rage
2) Earth
3) Strength
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Sigil
Earth, Strength, and Air all have effects that activate on a crit. Rage might as well, because Superior Rage is listed in the critical hit activation section, but just Rage is listed in Misc (although it has the same effect, but with higher chance of getting it). I'd recommend getting your hands on a Sigil of Superior Accuracy, to increase that crit chance.
So, anyone on Tarnished Coast interested in doing Ascalon Catacombs in about an hour (7:30 Central US)?
I haven't done it yet, and want to give it a go with the guild if possible. I'll be bringing my Elementalist if we managed to get it together. I know it is short notice, but thought I would throw it out there.
23 guardian is too low level to be of use correct?(I've had less time then I expected recently, and haven't made veyr much progress on leveling him)
Well, yeah, I know what they all do, otherwise I wouldn't have listed them specifically. :smalltongue:
Was wondering if anyone else had any comments on their respective effectiveness.
I've been using Rage, and it just doesn't proc enough for it to be worth it. So, that's 40 silver down the drain, but it was an interesting experiment.
Another person pointed out that the Vulnerability and Bleed applying sigils are of limited use, since nearly everyone has bleeds and vulnerability, and you can't stack those over 25. Granted when I was farming Citadel of Flame earlier today, we seldom managed to get to 25 stacks of either consistently, so...
Have you actually played with the Air at all, or are you basing it's usefulness off of what your perceived [lack of] usefulness from Rage?
I ask because I absolutely LOVE Superior Air. But then again, I run around with about 50% crit rate, and almost always have Fury raising that to about 70%, so I actually see more crits than regular hits.
I use main hand Battle, off hand Air.
So, I'm a master weaponsmith of my primary Guild, Serenity Phoenix Guild.
If anyone wants up to a level 65 weapon of any of the weapons that a weaponsmith can craft (this includes rare weapons), tell me here. I only ask that you send me the materials needed to craft the weapons.
Just finished my first run of Ascalonian Ruins! That was so much fun! Lots of deaths at first, but we picked up the pace quickly and figured out how to beat 2-3 ennemies at the same time without too much casualties...
The dungeon is very well paced. It really is somewhat unforgiving, and teach you the teamwork you need to achieve at first.
All bosses were somewhat easy if you knew what to expect, except for the frikkin' lovers. We probably did the wrong thing at first by targeting the guy, while we should have targeted the girl. As soon as we shifted strats, it only took us 2 tries (the 1st try failed because both lovers were stuck in close proximity and not boulder would move them)
All bosses were original and needed fun strategies. Can't wait to find new Instances!!
