When you hear us being run out on a rail. :smallwink:

but more importantly, I spent an entire night with a halfling, while you had a 2minute conversation, and we end at the same time... I'm all for being de-railed, but that doesn't mean we can break the train! :smallwink:Quote:

It was more of making a point, I don't expect to spend a whole night with a halfling, probably too long for her .
Or you :smallwink:.
And fair enough. Ack.. Need to stop distracting myself... Got work to do...
And so continue the adventures of Mr "Split the party, spread the halfling" and Captain Underpants Gnome.
oh, don't worry, it won't just be halfling (or would it be half-halfling?) :smallwink:. Might even get some normal humans in there :smalltongue:.
Three-quarterling? Brassy farthing? Tuppenny bint?
Forgot some stuff in the IC:
would Drayner have heard what Verossa said? If required I'll post the likely necessary rolls here.
Spoiler
Listen: [roll0]
Sense Motive: [roll1]
You failed the sense motive...so does that mean you now believe you suffer attacks of incontinence when not in danger? And that you did not just have an encounter with an apocalypse halfling?:smallconfused:
I think I also failed the listen... so the sense motive would be void.
and even so, I would believe you thought of me that way, not that your bluff is who I am (someone help me if it does! you could lie me into believing I think anything :smalleek:).
It would probably result in a "Well I see you think highly of me" conversation. :smallwink:
If Nialise can cast lesser restoration, she is either a second level Cleric, second level Druid, or a fourth level Paladin. I tend to lean towards the cleric, but I get the feeling she could get good mileage out of the Paladin's immunity to diseases. :smallwink:
@Arranis: .... just so you know, it is a plain dull grey coloured beast. And I hearby FORBID you giving it a gayass* name and a gayass* brand of a lollipop/ice cream/balloons or the likes :smalltongue:.
* I in no way mean this to be derogatory in anyway at all. I am purely using it as slang and because I'm too lazy to think of any other word to use.
No problem, no offense taken. :smallwink:
Lol, the disclaimer wasn't just for you. It's for everyone/anyone who reads this thread.
And to any who do that aren't apart of the group... HI!!!, don't mind the craziness :smalltongue:.
Does that mean I can't give mine a tasteful white horsecloth with blue frills, red sparkles, a big red bow and a Nanoha jacket?
As long as it doesn't have a name like Apple Bloom, Bright Eyes, Baby Cuddles or Glitter Glide, or any brand/tattoo/markings in the shape of a lollipop/balloons/an ice cream cone/hearts & flowers or the likes, you can attire it how you like, as long as you can find the attire that is :smalltongue:.
An important question; If Nanoha had a horse, what would she call it? A person who calls a citykilling particle-beam attack "Starlight Breaker" is capable of anything. And only slightly less important; What kind of gun would Jesus use?
I think Big J would use something like this...
The M134 Minigun... Talk about Smiting Power!
""Hey! Peter! Deny me NOW!"
Now before this go any further, we are NOT going to go stat out the disciples as a (large) d20 modern adventuring party. If that happens I follow through my long-standing threat to make a "Disney Princesses vs Aliens" campaign.
I imagine Aurora as heavy weapons girl, to make up for bein upstaged by absolutely everyone in her own movie.
And what? Jasmine as the sneaky exotic knife slinging Mage/Assassin? And Cinderella as a Druid Summoner?
EDIT: Oops... You said d20 Modern... Hmmm... Jasmine = Tech Specialist, Cinderella = Umm... Something to do with having random animals appear when she starts singing.
Yeah..Mulan can be the meatshield, Belle can be something bookish, and Ariel can be the Bard.
The real problem would be doing something with the disney villains, since they're kind of a case of Scissors (Cruella), Rock (Gaston), Paper (Jafar), and Collected Thermonuclear Arsenal Of The Soviet Union (Maleficent).
But Belle was NEVER a princess! I can't remember if she even married the Beast after he returned to Human form. And we forgot Rapunzel!
Speaking of the Villains, what about the Sea Hag, the Evil Witch from Snow White and so on and so on.
Not to get into disturbing levels of geekery, but Belle is part of the disney princess line and is, in fact, considered one of the big five.
Ursula's a Beguiler, with a lot of LA to work off. The Evil Queen's (does she even have a name?) just an Aristocrat/Expert with some toys.
Apparently it was Queen Grimhilde in the original Disney version, but recently, in other versions she's been christened Regina.
So...that's about as canonical as Maleficient's invitation to the baby shower being lost in the post then?
Paperwork. Reliable communication. Do it, get it. Or face a pissed-off epic level Druid with a degree in evil politeness.
Ok guys. On a serious note, I got a PM from EE this morning which expressed his regret that he will, due to RL commitments for the next month or so, have to drop out of this game.
I have given him the option that Daranard will remain active as a semi-NPC run in turn by you guys (I do not want to use long standing DMPC's, especially party faces, as I sometimes tend to speak directly through them), which will allow him to post if/when he is able to.
He has expressed that due to these commitments he will not be checking the thread very often, if at all, so I told him we will use this solution for the time being and that is he wishes to carry on with Daranard, after being given a quick catch up, he can. Or failing that, I have told him that he is more than welcome to create a new character and rejoin from the point where he is able to follow the thread regularly and well have Daranard drift off into the sunset.
If any of you object, let me know, and I'll try to find another way of dealing with this.
I'd just like to take the time to say to EE, should he happen to check in at any time that you and your input will be greatly missed and I wish you all the best in your endeavours, and that I hope that you do return to us in the future .
Ah, that's a real shame. EE, if you're seeing this, I hope everything works out for you.
Same here, hope everything is good and well.
