Yeah, that can be pretty annoying sometimes. Finishingh an epic speech with a nat 1 on diplomacy, for example, can be especially frustrating.

Okay, was I the only one who found Ardon and Ell arguing about hairstyles oddly hilarious ?
Spoiler"We've got to dress me up as a tree so we can trick fairies into letting us use their magic doors."
That is some good stuff.
SpoilerTook me a little bit to figure out that the reason for the looks is probably a stigma against sticking contact lenses (or, should I say an object of unfamiliar technology) into your eyes.
I really wanna see where this'll go. :smalltongue:
Uh-oh, I think they may have finally broken Ellie. Is Sanity score and damage still a sub system in 4th E?
How likely is it that Ardon is telling the truth about what lies on the other side of the portal? Rather than blending in, is Ellie going to seem a grotesque monster that Ardon captured and is escorting to a zoo?
Pretty good. When Ardon lies, he lies by omission.
Anybody else think she looks really pretty as a wildin? The eyes are just amazing!
I wonder if any of those guards will think to check the giant suitcase. Maybe there's some sort of magical scanner for that kind of stuff.
Someone tell me when the Feywild thing is over I can't stand looking at it anymore I was hoping but nope. And I just want to use head on door
ah, culture shock.
ruining exploration and sharing knowledge since forever….
It is a creative way to show how alien the Fey are. I like it.
The creator of this comic is actually doing a live broadcast today. I believe he's drawing a wallpaper later, and it's pretty impressive for a MS paint project. You can find the link to it on his twitter feed from the comic homepage.
Gragnarak had me until the last panel. There he was just whining. :smallannoyed:
Welp, there plan just literally went down the toilet.
This could be awkward.
so long as she doesn't see fourtyfive it shouldn't be too bad right? I mean she'll probably just see Ell as annother fey.
actually... has she ever seen 45? He didn't show up on the island until after she fell back as far as i'm aware, and she only kidnaped whatsisname and peanut, leaving Ell, 45, and ovi behind, wich was done by an owl not her.
I though 45 was there when Ardon tried to off her with the rest of the party only to have everyone roll so low they couldn't hit her and she escaped?
If he wasn't, they might actually make it out of this alive.
Edit: I can't believe it, it looks like they might actually get away with this plan and make it to south crossing alive, in one piece, and as a whole party. They must have a really nice DM, I'd have had to pull like twenty insane spell-casting tricks in 3.5 to pull this stunt off, and I flat know I couldn't have done it in 4.0.
Edit: Nevermind, there dead.
New comic
SpoilerIs..is Fortyfive dead? :smalleek:
I didn't really like the character all that much, but damn. :smallfrown:
New comic.
SpoilerOn the one hand, I didn't care for him that much. On the other hand, damn, like that? That is a crap way to go. I'd hope Lone Star North wouldn't off him like that, that if he had to off him he'd do it differently. Maybe death in an epic battle or some such.
They've got bigger problems, but the crate turned upside down. :smallyuk:
Just found this comic- possibly my favourite sprite comic to date, actually, even though I don't play 4e. Can't wait to see where this is headed.
but…..why does it do that only when they leave and not when they go in? :smallconfused:
is there some sort of metaphysical difference? hmmm….
Possibility that Breya is just lying, and the effect on 45 isn't permanent?
