Why, yes, yes it is. :smallamused:
Serves him right.
any bets on if this is some super fey rabies that he had on him "just in case"?

Re: Will Save World for Gold
Well, looking more closely at the squirrels... they do look rabid. (At least in today's strip, they're clearly foaming at the mouth.)

Re: Will Save World for Gold
Something about these adorable little mini-quests appeals to me.

Re: Will Save World for Gold
I only have one reaction to today's comic.
*facepalm*
Well, at least, she might have won a level out of it.

Re: Will Save World for Gold
Ouch indeed. You try to solve problem, and problem only gets bigger.

Re: Will Save World for Gold
I blame the cleric for this one.

Yeah, except he might have avoided that if Chandea didn't insist on having her friends all raised on the same day.
-
Re: Will Save World for Gold
couldn't the cleric have just taken a short break or something? catch his breath and get back into focus? its not hard...
-
Re: Will Save World for Gold
He probably did just that, but even a fifteen minute break isn't much compared to 24 hours of casting. Raise Dead takes a grand total of eight hours to be cast in 4e.

Oh wow I missed that part of the joke.. I don't play enough D&D of any version to realise that. :smalltongue:

It would appear that the squirrels were just as nasty then.

Re: Will Save World for Gold
Though.
Spoiler
Show
Is the Elfs party even gonna want to adventure with her after all this? At the rate she's going by the time she's raised all of them, she's gonna be like ten levels above them. Anything she does will either make the encounters no threat cause there trivial too her now, or challenge her such that they all instantly die.

not to mention that the reasons they hated her as a leader have not changed, although she DID spend alot of her own gold raising them.

Re: Will Save World for Gold
It got worse, indeed.
Though we know he's not dead (yet), there's not a floaty skull over his head.

Re: Will Save World for Gold
LSN is beating hard on the shorties lately.

LSN? :smallconfused:

Re: Will Save World for Gold
Lone Star North. The creator.

Re: Will Save World for Gold
To be fair, the kid was at least partially responsible for that one.
I'm kinda more annoyed that two guards who never did anything wrong keep having there lives ruined by things related to Ardon.

in the list of all the people ardon has wronged, I think those two guards are not bad off, the person he got his cloths from for example.
-
Re: Will Save World for Gold
Hey now don't be too hard on the guy, This had nothing to do with Ardon this time!
-
Re: Will Save World for Gold
Ardon getting blamed for things he didn't do is hardly an unjust punishment for the things he does get away with.

Counter Point: He wanted Elly to go to the Magistraigt to get a mission. She wouldn't have been there if not for him in all likely hood.
Further, Elly might not have been as distracted trying to make piece with the elf (I forget how to spell her name off the top of my head.), if Ardon hadn't gotten her whole party killed and made her an enemy to feed his own ego in the first place.

By that logic, everything bad that's ever happened in this comic since #1 is Ardon's fault, since he teamed up with Odi in the first place. The guy is fun to hate, but it's boring if we lay literally everything at his feet, no matter how tangentially.

Umm... that's kind of true. :smallamused:
Well, except whatever happened to Odi's people, but that happened before the comic, and it's possible he had something to do with it since we don't know what it is.
And the nightmare spirit isn't his fault, either... but he is host/barrier umm... jerk to it now.
I can't think of anything else that isn't tied to him, either directly, or because it was done by someone hunting him.
Also, love the look on Ell and Chandra's faces in the last panel.

More or Less. Pretty much every bad thing is, some how, a result of or a relation to Ardon.
Honestly I'm sorta glad that his dads at least even worse of a monster then he is, since that means he's not the only one to hate.
And I actually warmed up to the guy before the halfling. Then in one panel he blew all the good will. And now he's gonna have to pull something else out of his butt to get it back.
-

Knowing Ardon, he will.
Spoiler
Show
And immediately screw it up 3 panels later by being an absolute monster.

Who said anything about a paladin code? :smallconfused:

Re: Will Save World for Gold
yea this is 4e. Ell can just be lawful good for her paladinhood to work. and technically this act is lawful good. its keeping a child from further harming himself in the outside world.
