Wouldn't she need quick draw for that to avoid blowing her only action on the minor action required to draw the potion, or is retrieving a potion specifically a free action?

Well that sounds incredibly painful.
The ... from the spirit was a nice touch.
The spirit will break free or take over if Ardon goes unconscious, right?
Curious where the story's gonna go next.
I was hoping that knowing what Ardon was wanted for would explain a bit more than that. I should have known better.
(Though I am now curious as to why he did that last thing.)
Ardon is fighting against Fey colonialism of mortals. Restricting travel and embargoing advanced technology are classic 'keep the wogs in their place' racist practices. He is for Fey/Mortal equality*.
*Not that he doesn't arrogantly look down on mortals; he just arrogantly looks down everybody, equally.:smalltongue:
How has he killed thousands of people since going through the feygate? Seems like there would be more of a hubub with the mortals if that were true.
Not really sure what is happening in today's update. :smallconfused:
Can't help but feel I would have better idea if this wasn't pixelated, but I suppose you can't change the style now.
I thinkSpoilerFortyfive is trying to reassemble the fragments of what Ell ripped to shreds a few pages ago in order to figure out what it was or exactly what it said.
SpoilerHoly Crap! Fortyfive just had a facial expression! :smalleek:
Is it just me or does the Gm to this group hate Ardon's player with all the fiery anger of the world
Also my personal thing
45, Ardon, Kobold, and the Gm all used to play 3.5
They decided to play 4e
And got 2 new players. Odivallus and Paladin(whats her name)
Kobold is too busy to attend
45's Player is normally the groups face but this campaign with new players wanted to let them take the lead
Ardon's Player a power gamer convince the Gm he could swap his multi-classing or actually does have two multi-classing feats because he whined about not being able to get them normally. Not seeing the point in a class that doesn't tank, heal or do damage he see's no point for a controller.
Odivallus came in with a cool character back-story
Paladin Girl same thing
They both luckily made face characters and that is why 45 is a Barbarian and so stoic
Tension has been boiling cause Ardon's player is being a bigger jerk so, he picked up the note the Paladin got from the Gm after she tossed it and sent a text/email to the Gm saying his character 'reconstructs' the paper so what does it say. Giving him the reason to go after Ardon and help the group cause though Ardon's player is his friend he is also a jerk
...And is disappointed when he realizes the others won't go against Ardon's player? Honestly Ell tore up that paper for a reason and I would expect Odivallus to at least demand an explanation for Ardon's actions before deciding what to do. And then there is Peanut who won't move unless Ardon uses his Warlord abilities.
Do we know either of these elves?
Alternatively El is a human orphan who decided to be a paladin, O is a dragon-descended sorcerer from a tribe of island inhabitants, 45 is a warforged with a past we don’t know about yet, peanut is a mentally challenged savant, and Ardon is a jerk Elderan guy and these guys that came through the gate are just law enforcers or even his Elderan family who are looking for him.
Yeah, I'm not sure where the idea that this is an IC view of a 4E campaign, rather than a story set in a 4E world the way OOTS is set in a 3E-ish world, came about.
Same place it came about in the Goblins thread i'm guessing. Though it doesn't explain where it came from origionally.
It's canon in Goblins, though. I've never even seen a hint of it in WSWFG.
Chances are there were comics were ardon or whoever starts talking about game mechanics rules or otherwise uses phrases that would only be used by someone playing a game, not an npc in that universe. You know, something that could be considered a bit of 4th wall, if not breaking, certainly poking.
WORD OF GOD:
WSWFG takes place in a ficitonal world where D&D mechanics are on equal terms with the laws of physics. The characters don't have players. The fact that they sometimes do things that only make sense when done by characters who DO have players controlling their actions is one of the running jokes.
However, if people think it's fun to speculate about what the players WOULD be like if they existed, by all means do so. It's fun to read
Minmax has explicitly referenced Forgath being played by a girl, so that would be odd to say the least.
Yeah yeah true. Reguardless this is offtopic to will save the world for gold. we should probably keep the goblinstalk to the goblins thread.
