11?! I haven't even managed to kill level 2!!! Although, on the server I attempted it last, no one (including me) wasn't really serious about killing him, so we barely beat level one.

I don't understand why it should matter. In reality, the highest leveled hats will be the one's who went onto cheating servers.
I have a "killed Merasmus Lvl 20" precisely because of what hobbit said above.
I went in to trade, started shooting, and the mod (Who had a Valve Scattergun and noclip) almost instakilled the Lvl. 20 Merasmus. I had just hit him, so I "killed him" so to speak.
Now, with legal means, I've killed a level 5 Merasmus.
Does anyone want to be added to my "I'm setting up an MvM server, so ping these people to come play" list?
I'm up to be added, and maybe even manage to be of use.
CS:GO had no interest for me, because I'm not a big fan of FPS in general and the typical sophomoric attitudes of those who plague FPS type servers in specific.
i prefer strategy games overall. Terraria was a lot of fun, I tried to get Dwarfs F2P to work, but I couldn't get it up and running for me on my linux box (hopefully now that I've signed up for the beta of the linux distro of steam, that will be fixed). Civ V: Gods and Kings demo is working, so I'll probably be saving up for that. Just ran across Dungeon Defenders, downloading the demo now to see if it's my cuppa, but it sounds like it is.

Amnesia . . .
Half of me is terrified of playing further after my first up close . . . encounter.
The other half is terrified of launching steam and just seeing it in my library, waiting.
I think I should take a break from it, play something low key.
Who here has played it? any similar reactions? I think I need more lights in my room now.
Tried playing it today. Exact same reaction to gatherers. One walked in front of me, and my reaction was:
Mute
Esc
Alt+Tab
Ctrl+Alt+Delete
End process
I've been meaning to ask if anyone would be interested in arranging a Vermivorous hunt in Borderlands 2. He's a bit more likely to spawn with 4 people, and it's a lot more likely that he'll be killable, he's nowhere near as wimpy as Terramorphus.
The reason I want someone else to arrange things is that I can play pretty much any time, so other people's schedules will be what matters.
...hmm, maybe I should dust it off and check the truth behind these statements :smallconfused::smalltongue:
play with the lights off. and headphones.
Or, if you value your sanity, don't.
One thing to note, is it starts kind of slow. It's adventure point and click puzzler, and that tends to shut some players out before they get to anything remotely scary. I watched Kurt's (kurtjmac on youtube) attempt at a let's play and the video just bored me to tears.
But then you get to the sewer. And then . . . the storage . . . and then the prison. and then it's too late and there is no escape.
Probably doesn't help that The Twelve was just published and I was reading it as well.
I always play with headphones, thank you http://i.imgur.com/N2nfK.jpg
Challenge accepted.
The game is...pretty scary. Fair warning, I swear a lot when I get scared :P
I managed to have 3 DOTA 2 invites in my Steam inventory, if anyone wants them, go ahead and ask
Hey guys, its been sometime.
So, Steam is now working with brazilian currency. Expect a lot of new players who until now were not part of the comunity because of the lack of credit cards, as we can use "Boleto" - a banking ticket, i guess.
Has anyone else been having problems with MvM's matchmaking lately? I've been trying to get into a game for the last 20 minutes, and I've got nothing. Unless you count a couple of Ghost Fort servers (from the MvM matchmaking!) and far too many "server is full" errors as something.
What's with all this Dota stuff? I don't even play it and I've gotten 4 gifts of it to give away.
So if the new thread is for TF2 trading, does discussion of the economy also go there or should it stay on this thread?
If anybody here is interested in some Portal 2 co-op, I'm currently in a position to help you get the Professor Portal achievement. Just friend me on Steam and send me a message if you don't mind showing a newb the ropes.
So apparently there is a major glitch in Mann Up mode that lets you have unlimited (?) Kritz/Uber canteen. Also apparently its use is wide spread. I use the word apparently as I have only done one tour back when it came out and have not touched it since.
But that can be a big problem both for the price of all botkillers, and to Valve. Short term, they are getting money with tickets, but they do care about the economy, which will be harmed by this.
What will Valve do in this case? Is there some sort of historical antecedent to show what they will do?
If they do a roll-back then those who legitimately got the BKs, are screwed. I don't know if they can track the use. From what I read, you can't accidently do it.
Some of us may be getting our florescent lightbulb halos soon if they do something about it.
