Seriously, though. I can't wait for season three to come out. I'm looking forward to Cadence coming back, and to the new songs.
What is everyone looking forward to as we creep closer towards season three?

Spoiler
http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/1779/charmonokuma1.png All right you bastards, listen up.
http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/1779/charmonokuma1.png Metal Mask has been killed. Her skeleton here is proof. Metal Mask's status as alive due to a time paradox is immaterial to this investigation.
Mask: Mmph.
http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/1779/charmonokuma1.png Now, there are a few suspects. There is Clockwork, who triggered the explosion. There is Silvosar who triggered the paradox in question, 'killing' one Mask to save another. There is Boffinspark who might have caused the explosion through his bombardment. And there is Mask herself, who condemned herself to death by escaping through time.
http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/9748/charmonokuma9.png Go ahead and vote for who is responsible!
Note: Thanqol will illustrate the guilty party's execution.
Mask: Mmph.

Some of us Necromancers know more than how to reanimate dead flesh, too. Like shadowportation.
The ropes stay on.
Also my head hurts. Who's messing with the timestream? You can't have her, I stole her fair and square!
http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/1779/charmonokuma1.png Habus corpus. I've got the corpus *kicks skeleton*
Yes.
Elements of Harmony demonstrated during previous sequence:
Kindness: Shotgunned to the face
Honesty: Metal Mask was present
Loyalty: 'Acceptable collateral damage'
Laughter: Monobear seemed pretty happy?
Generosity: Mask was photographed for commercial gain while down.
Super.
What If Machine! What If Machine!Quote:
Oh, I have a random pony question. If you could introduce one magic spell into the show, what would it be? It doesn't have to be cast by Twilight, and it could involve a new character with a special talent just for that spell if you want.
Seeing how they turn the clear Product Placement crystal ponies into something interesting.
Well, here are some things I'm looking forward to, or at least hoping we get:
An Applejack-centric episode. She needs more love.
New Music! Woot!
I'm really hoping they aren't jumping the shark with this season. (Potential movie? 13 episodes? Significantly more merch tie-ins? Scary stuff.)
*got home from a horrible graveyard shift at work*
*sees nothing interesting happening at home or in games*
*sees that the sun is barely breaking the dawn*
*knows no new events involving real life friends*
*sits down and begins watching the entire second season in 1 go, occasionally noting the room to get a different color over time due to light exposure*
*finishes watching the entire second season in 1 go, realising it is officially tomorrow.... er, today*
*sees -4- new pages since last post, possibly including responses to a message best sent with some sleep and proofreading*

At least now, I can say that I have fair right to judge My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, having given the main currently available material a fair and unbiased perview, and having spent extended time with members of it's fan base. Though, I probably shouldn't have gotten as close as I have. Not particularly protocal for an observer to actively interract with the experimental groups.
18 Hours of Pony in 2 days probably isn't good for my sanity, especially when I spend less time sleeping! Not to mention I've got a doctor's appointment with my mental health specialist, college with the most incompotent teacher I've ever met, and another session with my personal trainer... who would be just delighted to hear that I haven't been properly resting.
Ugh... Whenever I read, or think of what I'm writing, or think in general, I can hear their voices! I'm going to tear someone's bleeding heart from their chest if I start having Pony Dreams ala Luka, though at least I have a bit of an excuse for it, what with deciding to put my money where my mouth is and commit to giving a proper viewing.
Anywho, just checking in on you guys. Have I missed anything? I suppose I'll find out tomorrow morn... later today. Ugh. Toodles!
Y'know, I have no idea what's going on, so...
DISCUSSION TIME!
We've had a lot of musical styles in the various musical numbers. What new styles of music have we not heard that should be heard, and which main character should sing it?
RP: A Trying ExperienceSpoilerPhotographed? I must have missed that part. Hmm.
Oh, uh, hey. Been a while. Look, I might have gotten a little carried away again. Still, given that I stole you before the temporal wave hit, any idea where that skeleton even came from? Here, I'll loosen that Gag of yours.
Oh, and clearly Monobear, having created the situation, holds legal responsibility for the consequences of the situation?
Get some sleep, dude.
Here let me put on my Boffinspark hat:
Yes, Every day at any possible target! :smalltongue:
Monobear you are missing a suspect!
And that is Igor who mysteriously teleported in to drop something off, clearly a detonator! Which went off at the signal from his unwitting pawn Boffinspark!
So I vote Igor. And technically Boffinspark.
I'm not looking forward to Season 3 because I've managed to fool my brain into thinking purely in the present pony sense in order to avoid spoilers.
We haven't heard a good country song yet. To be fair I haven't ever heard a good country song. :smallamused::smalltongue:
RP Monobear's Lesson:
Spoilerhttp://img24.imageshack.us/img24/1779/charmonokuma1.png Luckily, I am a robot and robots can't be guilty of murder! Guess again.

RP: Monobears shocking implication
SpoilerIf that is so, then the culpability surely lies with whosoever is responsible for you and/or your involvement, as you are merely an object.
Which means that clearly Thanqol is guilty.
Musical styles, eh? Hmm. That's a good question, but I'm not really sure of the answer. I'd love to hear some more mysterious/melancholy, bjorkish pony-music, perhaps?
RP: Monobear's Unbothered Acceptance.
We need Lyra to have a solo and Octavia to strum up some swing.Quote:

Here's hoping that the new season comes out soon. I miss ponies.
As soon as the bombs go off in about ten seconds, the argument will be irrelevant. Answer's me.
Okay, let's see, how would Dive Bomb respond?
If? The answer is yes, every day. Have you not been paying attention to what I can do?
RP: Did somepony say robots?
SpoilerI disagree. Artificial life-forms such as us are fully capable of being held to the standards of living beings, if we have the will to act without input from our creators.
You have definitively demonstrated sufficient intelligence and improvisational ability that either you have sufficient mental capacity to be held responsible, or your creator is acting directly through you, meaning that for these purposes you are your creator. In either scenario, your statement is incorrect.

http://img546.imageshack.us/img546/5...rmonokuma7.png What if you are capable of acting without input from your creator, but only in a very narrow field...?
http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/9748/charmonokuma9.png But even so the original Monobear is dead via shotgun and cannot be put on trial. When you think about it he's a victim too!
http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/1779/charmonokuma1.png Unless you want to hold me accountable for the actions of my clone.
Hey, Thanqol; now that you've finished Fallout: Equestria, you can read some of the side stories. Try Pink Eyes on for size. It's kind of depressing, if only because the heroine is so utterly optimistic. Still a great read, though. Best part? It's only novel sized, as opposed to "Break-your-foot-if-you-drop-it."
All I can say is, I want to know what happens next.
Thoughts
SpoilerI'd agree with most of that. But the thought of the emperor of a powerful magical army talking like Gilda did was just too much fun not to like. Also, I kind of like to imagine Trixie filling in a role for Applebloom that Applejack normally would, in an odd way.
How about "Zounds"? It's religious, but not too many people know that. And it's a lot of fun to say. :smalltongue:
Hasn't he been referred to as Big Mac once or twice? If so, Macintosh would make more sense.
Just answers to all the teaser stuff I've foolishly exposed myself to.
Workshop is pretty much the only large retail gaming company yes, and thus the one most publically visible; all the other wargames companies have always been mostly postal (and now internet based). (And about half the price. If you're not playing GW or the companies that want to be GW, wargames is a cheap hobby.) If you're stateside, then yes, you are much more likely to struggle to find wargamers, period, let alone ones who want to try something different (one American of our acquintance used to travel a couple of hundred miles to play at one chap's place for big day games.) This also tends to have an effect on the sort of games commonly played: games like Rapid Fire (urgh) are zero-brain cell rules sets that really are there for people who want to push a few models around and roll dice (Rapid Fire is more fantasy than most fantasy games). But if you only get to play a few times a year, you probably don't want to spend as much time learning to play1. (Interestingly enough, US-written rules tend to be hex-map-based (e.g. BattleTech, Starmarda,, Silent Death) for reasons I've never fully understood. Again, I presume is stems from not being able to play often meaning set-up times are reduced if you use hex-maps or or something.)
Over here (and in Germany), there tend to be a lot more wargamers, and as the density is higher, and there is usually a wargames club of one form or another within driving distance for an evening's game (usually more than one). The clubs also don't have to rely on the local gaming stores, because they have their own venues (though finding new ones is getting increasingly difficult, because wargames has a low person-per-unit-area, given that you usually have at least one 6x4' table per two people, sometimes more.) The Derby club has about a hundred members or so at the moment, and the bulk of those play nearly every week, on one of the two days the club has the venue.)
No clue. I don't do sport...
1Learning the rules and learning to play are two entirely different sets of things. With 40K and Rapid Fire and the like (and let's be clear, there are a lot of games like that), the two are pretty close. Other games, though, can be more like chess in that regard; you can learn the rules easily enough, but learning how to play is a different task...
Well, it wouldn't make much sense in Equestria. "Zounds" is a contraction of "his [that is, Christ's] wounds", and, as an aside, is pronounced as such. Trouble is, almost all the mythical and deific figures we know of in Equestria, and certainly all the benevolent ones, have been female. This can be worked around, assuming you don't mind that no one will have a clue as to what you're talking about, by creating a word along the lines of "rounds", pronounced "ROO-nds".
But then there's the niggling detail that nopony ever seems "wounded" in Equestria in the sense implied in the exclamation "zounds". Banged-up, brused, singed, and bandaged, we get. In "Read it and Weep" we get the Pony Soldier Who Saw Everything Twice, done up in a full-body cast. But no skin is ever broken - Celestia forbid the Royal Guards ever use those spears they carry around, particularly against Changeling grunts - and we never see blood.
Not to mention that all the comparable "crucifixion" events happen to antagonists. Discord's entombed in stone, Nightmare Moon in the eponymous celestial body. Nowhere is it suggested Celestia died for ponykind's sins and was resurrected after three days, unless there ends up being some kind of mythology built up around her defeat by Chrysalis or her absence on the thousandth Summer Sun Celebration. Cadence was trapped in a crystal tomb for some time, though. Hmm...
A word or phrase along the line of "zounds" would go something like "his stone" or "her cave", referring to some suffering by a mystical personage.
Or maybe I'm overthinking this and should take you at your word that "zounds" sounds cool to say and hear. Because it does.
A little saucy, but this humanized picture almost makes me like the Rarijack ship. Also one of the best humanized pics I've seen
Here's another great one by the same artist. Pinkie and Twilight having a pool party.
Lyra and Bon Bon
And a slightly saucy FlutterDash
Rainbow Dash likes your hat and she cannot lie
And all the Bronies can't deny...
That's cute... but who's the one with Applejack?
Hee, I'm gonna take some notes and make my next RPG character based on Daring Do. I haven't played a good-natured adventerous rogue in a long time.
I find this one hilarious on the account of all the HUB channel promos that have Pinkie totally trolling Dan. My fav was Pinkie hiding in Dan's car eating his sandwich.
I guess so the nickname "Big Mac" works better? Otherwise we'd have "Big Mc", which kinda sounds like Big Eem-Cee and that poor guy is about as musically talented as an apple.
Possible Trixie episode and I'd love to see a Scootaloo episode. The poor filly has no background to break our fanon with.
Nope. Just us all being the lowest common denominator.
I'd like to see AJ do an upbeat country song, or maybe tread a bit into rockabilly. I can see Johnny Cash's style for inspiration.
Trixie makes a good filly-sitter?
I do like the odd friendship those two form.
A LITTLE?!
I'd say that's the Prego brand of saucy.
I like ponies.
They're good, yes?
I love the detail on these things; for example, look at the tattoo on Pinkie's right shoulder.
These are exactly right, a mix of sweet and saucy. Dash looks just right.Quote:

I'd just like to say that if a true war were to ever occur in Ponythread, it would either never end or result in complete and total annihalation of this dimension of reality.
