Infirmary
Yuki frowns a bit at the talk of slaughter.
"More of a blueish black."
It is quite likely that Yuki saw several drow in the city.

"Then, they might be Sea Elves, like me. Might be another type of elf I've never heard of. The world's a big place, maybe there's more than four types of elf." There isn't in his world; different habitats have different races in, and different habitats in different parts of the world have different races in. Each tend to be specialised, though.
Infirmary
"There were lots of different sort of people in the city, I'm sure there are lots of different types of elves out there. I couldn't really say though, I'm not a very good authority on anything."
Infirmary
"What of this community? Which species calls this settlement home?" He's sure it's a settlement and not an isolated house because there's too many little alcove thingies for this to be anything other than a communal sleeping area, and he thinks Lume is a summoned and/or bound spirit of some sort and mages rarely live alone- they're too valuable.
Infirmary
Lume, inasmuch as it is even possible for him, smiles.
"This is not a place of one species. If it were, I would hardly be allowed here - of course, I wouldn't be allowed in most places, considering my past. But just since I've been here I've run into at least 5 different species - and that's not counting myself."
Infirmary
"There are many species here that live together. I'm not really sure what all the types are. I think this place is probably quite a bit different then where you come from. The city near here is filled with countless odd an strange people living together. At least that is how it seemed when I was there."
Infirmary
"Not necessarily true. City Elves are often outnumbered by others within their cities. Usually the City Elves have all, if not all, the power, and the non-elves are always slaves." Tying in with the City Elf belief that elves are inherently superior and a First Race, when in fact they are a Second.
Infirmary
"Well it sure didn't seem that way to me. It didn't look like anyone was a slave when I was in the city."
Yuki frowns a bit thinking about it. Maybe it is good the child is so far from home it seems like he comes from a cruel place. Another part of her wonders if she just missed the signs when she was in the city. She was so confused back then, and while things are becoming easier to understand she worries she has been missing something important.
Infirmary
"I am an elf, yes. I am a Sea Elf. What... what is this place?" He thought maybe he was on another continent somehow, having washed ashore after weeks unconscious in the ocean.
Infirmary
"Have a good rest, Kitty." With that, Copi will up and head to leave, and will leave if nothing stops her.
Lakeside
Reinholdt undeadtimes, sitting by the lake in human form, sniper rifle on his back, peering over the water.
[Infirmary]
"You appeared in the lake here. Probably because of magic someone said."
Yuki tells him in case Good League of Good doesn't mean anything to him. Unfortunately she doesn't know enough about where they are to be of any real help.
Infirmary
"Magic? But... How? Our ship was out to sea when she was attacked and sunk by Island Goblins." Teleportation is impossible in his homeworld. If a wizard wants to go somewhere, he walks. With some exceptions, anyway; Aeromancers can fly, Aquamancers can breath underwater, Terramancers can burrow through the ground, and Witches can create flying broomsticks.
[Infirmary]
"I don't know. I don't really understand magic, I think that is what makes it magic."
She gives a little shrug and what she hopes is a reassuring smile.
Grounds
"OK. Well, a true shapeshifter can take the form of anything he wants, but I can't because for some reason I don't have that ability, just the ability to change into something that I've already been turned into and back into my human form. Is that better?" Natalie's trying to simplify it, but it's quite complex and she's having difficulty.
Infirmary
Lume sighs. "I do really understand magic, but it varies from place to place. Where I come from, getting you from out to sea to here would likely mean that you'd hit a bubble of stray magic, but I don't know what the rules of magic are where you come from... wherever that may be. Fortunately, the rules around here seem to be fairly open, so I was able to heal you with my kind of magic.
Infirmary
"Where I'm from, everything and everyone is magic. Over time, those that use magic come to resemble an archetype of what their magic involves; Aquamancers tend to always be wet, and an Aeromancer's hair is always swept in the wind, even indoors and on calm days. But the different types of magic don't mix; an Aeromancer cannot become an Aquamancer, though both can move a ship faster they do it in different ways. An Aquamancer makes the current push the ship faster, whilst Aeromancers do the same to the wind." Which means no wild magic, but there are magical representations of places, objects and animals, termed 'spirits' that some wizards use. "Are you not a Spirit? I've not encountered one before, I don't think, but they're supposed to be everywhere." That question is directed at Lume.
Grounds
"The ability to change shape is as natural as my hair colour. At least, the way I do it is." Somehow. I don't know how it works, but Natalie's world has magic so it's probably a kind of magic that uses very little energy and so can bypass antimagic fields and such like. "If you change your mind, I could let you borrow the book I'm learning magic from. It's showman's magic, mainly, and it explains the magic and non-magic way of doing things like this." Natalie flourishes her hand and with a small burst of dark red light is suddenly holding an acorn.
Within earshot of Lakeside
The treasure hunter's relaxing quiet time, may be interrupted by the clanking and jostling of the weapons and scavved goods Vault-boy Justin is walking around with. Of note are at least four rifles slung over his shoulder and a box full of booze in his arms.
Seems like a guy worth knowing.
Grounds
"That was magic. The preceding flourish was the movements required to cast a spell that summoned an acorn. The red flash was the colour of my soul, as magic is linked to the soul using magic briefly makes it visible to the naked eye. Experienced wizards have shapes as well as colour, but as I've only just started to learn I'm not that far yet." The personality affects the shape the soul takes, and experience affects the personality. It's most obvious with magicians, but it's true to pretty much everybody in Natalie's homeworld.
Infirmary
"Not exactly. I'm not a spirit, but rather a soul. I was stripped from a living Raytoran - 8-foot tall people not unlike you in shape and proportion - and bound to the dark will of a vicious tyrant. But he was slain, and now I am free, but without a body to house me. My magic blurs the line between soul and flesh. He pulls a jar of ectoplasm from his chest, and continues speaking. "Thus, I can turn this ectoplasm - once a part of an undead soul - into a piece of the body, and use it for healing, as I did with you. But my main magical ability is the absolute control of my own form. Here, let me show you:" As he finishes speaking, he flares brightly, then grows, twists, and warps until he is in the shape of a sailing ship, scaled down to be 6 feet long.
Grounds
"Oh, I'm sorry. I've been researching it all, and I sometimes forget that my vocabulary is larger than most." But if I recall correctly, she was more verbose at PACK than she is now. Could be wrong, though. "The hand movement was a spell, and the colour was my soul, which the spell makes visible." Although I can't remember if souls exist in Brinika's homeworld, as they don't in Wenomir's and I can't recall if they're from the same place.
[Grounds]
Wenomir, Brinika, Dorota, Reelshka, Dipsnig and all of the Underside goblins are from the same homeworld and whether or not they have souls is debatable.
"Ooooh. It makes sense now. Did you get to pick your color?" Probably a silly question, but Brinika doesn't know that.
Grounds
"No. It's supposed to be a colour that represents you, but I can't admit much fondness for red. I prefer green." Unfortunately for her, the colour matches their text. Although Natalie's is actually slightly darker due to Murkus's soul-stealing plot thingy that may have fallen through.
