Do you think you will use Kamome for some other game later?
Hello Kasanip! Welcome back, we kept your seat for you.
If you are looking to play Pathfinder, I would reccomend you start with a Rogue or Barbarian.
Rogue is much better than it was before, with many new tricks to choose from. Barbarian is simple and effective, without being boring.
Both will help you get familiar with the system and how it works, without overwhelming you or leaving you feeling like you do not contribute.
Once you have become familiar, you can try more complex classes like Wzard or Druid. They take constant planning and work, but are most powerful and fun.
Yes! Such a picture was sketched while to think about Avatar Battle thread. Because Mary is [Caller], to use clothes of weapons called [tsukumogami]. Such a thought like [boots] and [socks] and [cap] etc. However, Mary is very peaceful, so this idea was stopped.
Thank you for advice! It can be said that I play any class for party. I think I would like any class. Interesting characters can be thought about for them. If it is easier however, it can be played like suggested by Acanous.
Pathfinder rewards specialization and punishes generalization even more than it's parent system.
You are almost guerunteed to be the same class the entire game.
It is a good idea, then, to pick something you will be happy with for the whole game.
You seem the type to put more into a [性格] than [機能].
If you would like, I can help you with the game mechanics and character build based on what you write for personality.
Congratulations on a second thread, Kasanip! Sorry to hear that 2012 wasn't such a good year for you, and I hope 2013 goes much better.
EDIT: Also, I've played a bit of Pathfinder, it's a very fun system. I'm interested in what you think of the Dragon Empires, if you've read up on the world Paizo publish.
EDIT2: Incidentally, are you up for a character sketch request? I have a couple of characters for the new BleachitP request that could do with a picture.
It is only Japanese language, I think. Sorry!
Thank you for the offer. If there are any questions, I will ask. However, first a game must be joined, of course.
Thank you for kind words. It hasn't been read so much about [Tian]. I am trying to finish [Advanced Player's Guide].
I am happy to draw requests for this week, I think.
I'll send over a PM soon, then. :)
Out of interest, Kasanip...
I know that in Japanese, some words that sound the same are written differently and have different meanings, which can give English-speakers trouble ([kami] being a prime example of this).
And since I know English has its share of words like that, which are spelt differently and have different meanings but are said the same...
Are there any words like that in English that give you particular trouble at times? Just curious.
...I'm also slightly curious as to whether Japanese has any homonyms- that is, words that are said and written the same way but have different meanings.
Yes, there are many times such a word cause problem for listening and speaking. Maybe hardest is [to]. Using such a word it is "want [to]"
"be going [to]" "go [to]" are different, and also [too] and [two]. It can be understood, but to hear many times becomes difficult to understand direction.
For example, the sounds of this sentence: "I wanted to go to the movie theater to see the two o'clock movie, but too many people are going to come so I'll give my ticket to you."
Even if writing it can be seen, [L] and [R] sounds are difficult to hear.
Because of kanji, it is not so much this problem like English writing. However, such a joke of sound called ダジャレ is very popular and common, especially comedian. It makes a joke of similar sound words. You can see some here.Quote:

Maybe some easy ones:
- オオカミがトイレ入っておお紙がナイ
- 占いの本は売らない
- 車がくるまで待つ
- 虫を無視
I don't think I can make good such a joke in English.
Oh, I think I know this one. Basically, it's what we would call 'wordplay' in English. For an example in the latter, we might perhaps say "I scream for ice cream". The things that Hyouka teaches you, eh?
BTW welcome back to the forums, Kasanip! Hope you've been doing fine when the forums went down. :smalltongue:
I'm sure whatever joke you make would be grate.
That was a typo. There is no joke
Glad to see this thread lives after the internet de-exploded. How's the pathfinder game coming, Kasa?
Thank you! Recently it was my birthday and then study for school very much. Somehow it was a nice vacation from forum reading, but a little sad to not see other members in that time.
It is unfortunate a game cannot be found. Of course because forum was dead such a search cannot happen.
Happy birthday, Kasanip!
You don't say? Well then, happy ??th birthday Kasanip! Congratulations on reaching the next annual milestone of your life, and here's to many more happy ones in store!
(Also, if you wish to keep in contact with at least some of us even when the forums are down... well, you know what to do. :smalltongue: )
happy birthday, Kasanip.
Indeed! Happy Birthday Kasanip!
Happy liberation from the womb day! Now eat cake!
Happy late birthday Kasanip!
Have some cake!

Thank you Horngeek, Ascaloth, Keveak, Starsign, TechnOkami, Illven and memnarch for the birthday wishes.
I will try to make this account soon.
Somehow this cake seems familiar. Thank you!
You're welcome.
(Incidentally, if you want, feel free to post anything you draw for me up here.)
It's time to return to sketchbook!
Characters of Horngeek
Spoiler
Api-Niyap Goddess of Fire and Harvest
New god game character for me.
Fire and Harvest, huh?
It's an interesting link. Makes sense when you think about it, but isn't immediately obvious.
Love the pic.
Happy belated birthday.
Man, gotta say your gods designs are generally pretty sweet.
Oh, happy late birthday!
Heh, it's an interesting combination, but Api-Niyap's design actually captures fire and harvest pretty well at the same time. Looks nice!
