Day One, Ink almost successfully started a bandwagon against Kyrian before Kyrian came out and derailed it by declaring his membership in the Posse.
Day Two, Ink tries to start a bandwagon against Alarra.
Day Three, Ink points at Indurain, but only after the bandwagon is well established and obviously not going to be derailed.
Day Four, Ink tries to bandwagon EK, who Alarra defended as an innocent.))
*points at Ink*
((Ink wasn't trying to "bandwagon" anybody. Ink just made some pretty random choices that seemed like plausible ideas at the time.))
Seeing the accusing glances, Ink walks into the square, a shiny gold watch hanging from his pocket, and a solid bar of pure gold in his hands.
"My friends, settle down and hear me out. Don't hang me, friends. I am the Banker."

Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
*Mongo grumbles a bit*
Nobody speaks up to say you a liar. Mongo might have to believe you. Last person who had a real job was not a liar.
((Aside from a Bandit trying to pretend to be the banker so he can stay alive one more day before he gets scried and THEN lynched, I can't see any reason that Ink might not be telling the truth. I'd like someone else to speak out one way or the other before I decide whether or not to retract my vote, though.))

Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
"What's that ol' Fluffers?" The Crazy Old Prospector looks intently at the spilled ink.
"Dad GUM you're a clever one! Timmy fell down the well, and it's up to us t' rescue him! Come on!" He grabs a few random items from the grocery store: a packet of clothespins, five mason jars, a mop, and a garden trowel, then dashes off towards where he thinks the well might or might not be.
-
Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
"Aye, let the man be. Bankers are no harm to any 'o ye. An there ain't much reason not to trust 'im, 'course."
Decken then gives the prospector a funny look.
"Ye've been at the drink again, aye?"
-
Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
"Again? That implies I stopped! Now come on, Tommy fell down a mine shaft!"
On his way out of town, the prospector *waves his hand at Helgraf* for want of a better target.
-
Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
*The llama looks at the spill, then at the prospector and trots after him, because "well" means "water"*
(Hmmm...I'm torn...normally claiming a role is a trick, but with the bandit threat growing as it is, do we really want to risk killing our defense against them?)
-
Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
((It does raise the question...has anybody used this defense so far? I hates me the lynchin' of a villager, but if we're not using the Banker, losing him isn't exactly a big problem, not to mention the fact that clearly claiming to be the Banker would be a great bandit gambit. I'm torn as well, but wonder if there's anybody who might vouch for Ink?))
-
Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
((Okay, I've heard enough to withdraw my point from Ink for now.))
((@EL J - I'm hoping the seer will take this opportunity to find out for sure, if they don't already know who the banker is. If they do, I'd appreciate some proxy confirmation one way or the other. I'm hesitant to lynch now because of the fact that only one Bandit has killed so far and they're almost half way to their goal.))
-
Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
((I'm not sure if anyone will vouch for me at the moment. However if the Seer wants to scry me tonight, I have nothing to hide.))
-
Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
[Chinese Speak]Ok, this Ink seems to speak the truth, but so I have no one left who is suspicious. I don't think this squirrel hunter mcgee is guilty because he lead the bandwagon against Cobra-Ikari. Hmmm, this Llama maybe?[/Chinese Speak]

Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
HyramGraff the gambler is running out of people to gamble with (not to mention still looking for a new dealer). "I will point at the llama because a lack of hands makes it hard to play cards."
-
Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
(This is because I didn't point at Cobra, isn't it? Meh, seems fair. I did ask Alarra to point the llama in Cobra's direction in a PM, so that I could RP a logical switch. Sadly, she chose not to, and then a Cobra bandwagon started, so I saw no reason to switch simply for the sake of switching. Frankly, EK's defense of "Someone could vouch for me" seemed a little suspicious since no one did actually vouch for him despite the fact that I have attempted to find a man willing to stand up for EK's innocence and no one has yet to do so. In fact, that seems the best course of action.)
*The llama points a hoof at EK at looks at the crowd questionly*

Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
(Didn't Alarra say she trusted him, then subsequently turn out to be Rev. Jim?)

Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
((Which would explain why she is now dead...))

Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
(She said she thought he was innocent. Not the same thing as him being innocent. She trusted Shadow in WW Classic III. She sent him the list of masons. That night he PM'ed the list to his fellow wolves. In WW II, she trusted me and Death, we were both wolves.
Alarra is a great lass, but her judgement of whom she believes to be innocent isn't the best basis. Sorry, Alarra.)
-
Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
The Llama made a good point here, a very good point. I'm really not sure where I should point. I thought she had a reason to trust EK, but if she hadn't my suspicions against EK are upright now. I'll point at EK, since someone defends him with some effort. (But if he's a citizen, the Llama is my second guess)

(No offense taken, I trust everyone . I really really wonder where this reputation of being a good player has come from....I mean....come on! Does anyone but the llama even watch me play these games? :smalltongue:)

Rex Basset, Purveyor of Basset's New Dry Goods, examines the most recent shipment to arrive at his store with... perplexed confusion.
I... Who would order a 10' tall tin mould in the shape of a bunch of grapes? Who would have the need of "Emmeritous Emmerson's Patent field Horse-gelatian and Mint Julep refridgerator?"
Mr. Basset rummages around until he comes up with a tag, labeling the items the property of Purple Gelatinous Cube of Doom

"Ya'll gone right to the squirrels, I tells you," 'Squirrel-Hunter' McGee retorts with a spit of tobacco juice.
But I can kill one squirrel jus' as good as another.

Actually, I am a citizen. Well, a little more than a citizen, but my role is useless to us. I'm the fool, I've been aware of that since night one.
