These are strips that were part of the first Goblins book when it was printed, they've never been on the net before. They're quite old, and yeah it shows :P

Re: Goblins XV: Klik Here
Yep, its goblinslayers mom/sister/daughter/other relative.

No, all demons are weak to fear effects, how else would you cast the fear spells on them. They have hidden fears. We now know his hidden fear.
Plus, dolls can be scary. They made a couple movies about evil ones.

Thats my story and im sticking to it. You can sort of see a resemblance there in the face.

Re: Goblins XV: Klik Here
Thunt only has like three human faces, though. So it's not guaranteed.

I know they're supposed to be funny, but the pit fiend that pokes the doll with the pole, it's somehow sad...

Eh, blond hair, similar facial structure, nope, im sticking with a relation to goblinslayer. Even the personality is the same, sadism and a great pleasure in torture and killing. The only way it could be clearer is if she was half tree.
I know its most likely not, but it tickles my fancy to think otherwise.

There does seem to be something weird with her left hand, though still not half-tree I suppose.
-
Re: Goblins XV: Klik Here
I haven't paid much attention to Thunt's humans, does he sameface that much?
I'll say this though, her hairstyle actually resembles hair. Massive progress from Thunt's usual fungal sponge haircuts.

My gut reaction was that she was related to the goblinslayer as well.
-
Re: Goblins XV: Klik Here
I also believe she is/will be a Goblinslayer relative, but due to the laws of dramady rather than family resemblance.
-
Re: Goblins XV: Klik Here
I don't see why this is so dumb? Like, it isn't great, but as a bonus comic primarily based upon silly jokes (AKA what the comic was doing back in the start of the series) it seems fine to me.
Also.....do those burned dolls have bones?
-
Re: Goblins XV: Klik Here
might just be metal or wooden framing that's taking longer to burn then fabric.
keep in mind that this is either non-canon or completely irrelivent to the main story, you wont loose anything if you don't want to read it, it's mainly just filler stuff so people have something to do. We'll keep you posted for story updates.

Considering it predates his usual haircut (what with being a bonus strip for the very first book, before the goblins even picked classes), I'm not sure "progress" is the right word for what you meant.
I actually like the way Thunt draws hair, though. It's different.

Wonder how much Thunt likes drawing hair, given that most of the cast is bald. :smallwink:

Re: Goblins XV: Klik Here
And...I believe the Demonslayer just tipped her hand. (Giving the hero time to do something isn't the only reason you shouldn't monologue.)
Mind you I'm not actually sure if it will cost her, but it just seems like a dumb move on her part either way.

Re: Goblins XV: Klik Here
Huh.....I didn't expect a doll Golem.
I like that the Crazy Jigsaw character is a women, you don't normally see that.

Well, given that Not-Walter is a pit fiend...in this particular instance the Crazy Jigsaw character is actually the good guy.

I didn't realise it was old, I haven't followed the discussion on it much. :smallconfused:
And ... different is definitely a word that would fit Thunt's style of drawing hair. :smallwink:

Or at least, a different bad guy, evil often fights evil in D&D (blood war)

Yeah, or Kore. Or Goblinslayer. Or Duv...
(And where did Greena get that angel blood, anyway?)

Angel blood drive obviously.

Re: Goblins XV: Klik Here
New comic is out. Second to last panel still needs some coloring and the last panel is just the 'inks'.
Monks seems to have a little trouble when up against multiple opponents.

Fixed that for you ;)

Re: Goblins XV: Klik Here
The twist in the bonus story finally got a chuckle out of me.
-
Re: Goblins XV: Klik Here
I really expected something like that :p

Re: Goblins XV: Klik Here
I wonder if we will learn how she even knew about the doll phobia? Is it some sort of pit fiend trait in this universe?
