A very interesting end to a final battle. Good job Q.
New comic!
comic 219: the embarrassing fall of the Darkness-wanderer
I am really confused right now. Is the other Q masquerading as that darkness wanderer or is it part of a humiliation conga?
No. It is another Darkness-wanderer who is going to banish THE Darkness-wanderer (the one who's been the main villain all this time in case you're confused by the fact they all have the same name like the Qs) for using his Darkness powers on Star-wanderer territory and breaking the law.
There is no other Q, nor is this to humiliate The Darkness-wanderer. It is simply Darkness-wander getting banished from his tribe.
all hail Q! God of irony.
this is interesting but I foresee a flaw in the plan. If this Darkness Wanderer isn't killed, and made mortal, than he can still cause micheif. most likely in the form of destroying everything Q cares about that he can destory (his wife for one).
read quickly! It's getting better and better.
I like the other DW's last line.
New comic. Actually yesterday's comic, but by the time I finished I couldn't seem to get onto the forums for some reason.
comic 220: the happy ending?
With the tombstone dates, Beth's tombstone only reads 2007 because that's when the real person who I based the character on died. :smallfrown:
All the other ones are also real dates, rather then the ABR time, just so that it wouldn't look weird.
Look it's Calvin and Hobbes! And Grinly is giving a message to the other two.
Whos that woman, and you have a wife?
New comic!
comic 221: THE END
Of course, don't go away just yet! I still got a humorous epilog comic and a sneak preview of the next comic, Smooth Moves. :smallwink:
P.S:For the first question: I assume you're talking about Luna, the girl with Grinly in the afterlife. She's Grinly lost fiance' who was accidentally killed by him during his service to the Darkness-wanderer. (I have already shown her in a few past comics, proving that viewers are, in fact, goldfish. :smalltongue:)
As for the second part, no. Not anymore. I used to.
I made myself sad now......:smallfrown:
aw...poor Q:smallfrown:
*hugs*
Men fear death, as children fear to go in the dark; and as that natural fear in children is increased with tales, so is the other.
very good work on the comic as well. I think you're the first fancomic to actually finish your seris. And the first with a morale. You've inspired me *goes off to write plot for webcomic*
I'm not THAT afraid of the dark. :smallfrown:
And now, the absolutely final comic of My Name is Q.
comic 222: the epilog
There is also a sneak preview of Smooth Moves coming your way. :smallwink:
Looks like Miko from Order of the Stick is finally getting some Treasure Type O, although it is non canon.
The last few panels are a good lead up to the sequels.
What that little guy does not know is that the Seinfeld DVDs could be sold to someone who likes them.
Some questions remain. Will we see the obvious pallet swap of Bowser again, and what will Q face?
yeah! Finally Smooth Moves, where we meet Doran and other members of the Town:smallbiggrin:
intresting cliffhanger for the last project and Bortak's cutaway made me laugh out loud:smallamused:
ahh, a truly glorious epilouge. yet at the same I cannot resist screaming to the heavens: SO MANY QUESTIONS LEFT UNANSWERED, WHYYYYYY!
it's over ... Here it is, people! The sneak preview to my next sequel comic, Smooth Moves!!!
Now, the art style is a work in progress and I'm still working and trying to improve on it, as well as try my hand at a new art program entirely, so this may look a little rough.
Also, I haven't got all the plot completely mapped out in my mind 100% quite yet which is why some panels don't have a background. Things may also change slightly when I make the final draft to post.
Without further adu, here it is:
As you may see, I will take it away from D&D based stuff and drift into a Pokemon-like setting. I also plan for the story to be from "Green-shirt" Q's point of view.
I also plan to challenge myself with the sequel and go for better-then-average quality. I plan for the graphics to be pretty and it to be more humorous instead of all plot.
I will take a break to develop the art, story, and humor, which will take a month at the least. But unlike most comic writers who go on hiatus, I shall return.
............let me guess.
The Q Continuum still has some kind of problem with R-Q (red shirt Q), or needs to test Q to make sure he has truly redeemed himself or some such, or doesn't really trust him for some reason, so they send him and G-Q (Green shirt Q) to a poke-world
to test or punish him and since G-Q is sort of still a child, G-Q has to go to.
.....which results in RQ and GQ in a poke-world and those antagonists trying to take it over/ destroy it for some reason.
I've actually played (and liked) Pokemon so I'll probably enjoy this.
I played pokemon games to.
I even remember long ago, my brother teaching me the Cinnabar Island Glitch of
pokemon red & blue and getting infinite master balls so I can catch all the legendary pokemon.....good times.
I played pokemon since I was two and stopped at the begining of the school year.
oh Q meets pokemon, this will be excellent, but what's going to happen to he who must not be named and sarah and every one else from "my name is Q"?
P.S.
do you think you can teach me that? I've picked up playing my old gameboy games recently and that would be really helpful.
wow, i have been reading this comic for almost a year now, and now its over......
well, at least there's a sequel to look forward to:smallsmile:
good ending and keep up the good work
Well, I finally finished reading this. I had to take a lot of breaks, and I kept losing my place, so it took me about 3 months, but I DID IT!!!
And I can finally thank Q for cameoing me. I take back all the mean things I ever said to you, that cameo is awesome. I didn't even ask for it, and I didn't think Q thought so highly of me (though I'm pretty sure that was mainly for the joke)but he gave me an awesome cameo! Thanks, Q!
I can't wait til the next comic comes (the next thread, I mean).
W-O-W.
I just spent an entire day (with breaks for food and bathroom) reading every one of those strips. I followed a link here and got hooked by the 5th strip. :smallwink:
This is the most awesome comic in the history of the universe. It made me laugh even more then OOTS. :smalleek:
Keep up the amazing work! I'll be watching for the sequel!
