Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIII, No Plot for YOU!
Well, I suppose we really can't see his back, but I was talking about this one.
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIII, No Plot for YOU!
Grr, I should progress the "free Ven" plot, but I also need to work on RandJ stuff, and I need to prep for the DnD session on saturday, and I want to play Supreme Commander...
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIII, No Plot for YOU!
Well, some progression would be nice even if it is just one or two panels talking about the enemies that just showed up.

There, comic up. It's kinda slapdash, and about 95% Copypasta with stuff I'd already made, but it's somthing.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIII, No Plot for YOU!
@NC: Mecha keeps saying stuff like exept kobolds thats what annoyed me.
@BRC: I'm considering joining the save Ven plot by following a signal from an broken Detta. Does that sound okay.
(PS. I'm going to a DnD game later so I'll first show up after 16.00)

Huh. I might maybe have seen that once. Maybe.
In other news, I'm waiting for responses from Keris and Gremlin, and for SDSB to get to a point where I can introduce the MBEG.
Oh, and for my HSC to finish, but that's beside the point.

Mage Hand produces an ethereal telekinetic force that can affect objects with up to 5 pounds of force.
I don't think that would work here unless it attached the rope very firmly to something...

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIII, No Plot for YOU!
Happy Halloween!
...I just wanted to say that.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIII, No Plot for YOU!
YAY! I tried out the animation thingy you showed me. I like it alot! Too bad its only 30 days before it stops working and I have to pay for it. Luckily its cheap. Since most animation programs are like 100$ and this is 30$ Its on my list of stuff I might buy.

To be fair, I think I said it twice.
You know, I'd be more sympathetic if Keveak was ACTUALLY a kobold, instead of a small European boy. (Small European boys are allowed in ABR.)
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIII, No Plot for YOU!
Well, you're a wizard, and Mage hand is a cantrip... It's definitely one of the best cantrips there is...
What else is there to buy? Ray of Frost?
He cast it on the end of the string, pulling it towards him (the rest of the rope followed its lead)
Is that acceptable? He was only about 40 feet away, but... Ah, well...

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIII, No Plot for YOU!
There you go Q, my response to your heartwarming welcome :smallamused:
Now I just need some ideas to the prison strip... I can't come up with any suitably smashing idea on how to leave holding cell. Any ideas?

You've just said "smashing" and you can't think of an idea?
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIII, No Plot for YOU!
Maybe, but it would involve ridiculous plot and quite absurd outcome . And besides, I would like to hear opinions of other ABR:s. Of course I still need reason for why I was thrown to cell in first place.
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIII, No Plot for YOU!
Well, I have an idea that doesn't have to do with the smashing.
You can be in my jet's back compartment, locked in the trunk. Turns out the pilot was a bounty hunter.
I could release you and convert you to 'the way'. I'm in need of a sidekick or partner.
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIII, No Plot for YOU!
If you're a prisoner on the Vendetta, make sure you have a singing entrance.
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIII, No Plot for YOU!
Apparently the Shades invaded a nation of bards ... easily.
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIII, No Plot for YOU!
I think that Tired N' Drowzy:s idea is pretty sound. And I could make singing entrance from there as well... and then curse as I couldn't get the hatch open. How does that sound?
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIII, No Plot for YOU!
No, no, you have to be a prisoner of the Shades to do the singing entrance.
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIII, No Plot for YOU!
Oh, I just knew I forgot something :smallfrown:. Well, I think I will sing along in first random encounter on Vendetta
And I think that my entrance could well be on your jet, Tired N' Drowsy. Which way would be better: that I would wait for you to land to introduce myself or somehow get next to the pilot's chair in mid-flight? If the former, I think that you could make new strip where you land your jet, and maybe find me. What do you think?

I'm glad I could help. Now let's have an aimation war.
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIII, No Plot for YOU!
I'm thinking I'll land in the hangar and hear grumbling. Opening the trunk, I find you, bound and gagged.
I then ask you if you will join my conquest should I let you out. You nod, and I untie you. We then proceed into the Vendetta.
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIII, No Plot for YOU!
Sounds like a plot . Oh, and if you like you could kick into the strip some mention about Spoiler
Show
what's under my hood, and have my character pull out some ridiculously large weapon (he has really big hyperspace arsenal), and tell "NO QUESTIONS.", but that is just a thought.
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIII, No Plot for YOU!
Well, now you've spoiled the joke.:smalltongue:
V:

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIII, No Plot for YOU!
Duly noted and fixed with spoiler warning
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIII, No Plot for YOU!
Yeah but they hardly do anything. Who can resist the spoiler? No one, that's who.
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIII, No Plot for YOU!
If only you could embed .fla's into this site.. then I'd draw a spoiler box and add a counter to it so I can see how many times it's been clicked.
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIII, No Plot for YOU!
Okay, I think that we have makings of new glorious subplot. How quickly you think you can make that strip? After you have done it, send me private message and I will get to work in turn
