In an attempt to stabalize yourself on the cliff face you attempt to burrow into the side and create a little chamber that will allow you a defensive position in case the decomposers are hostile. You gnaw and consume the sandstone, which you quickly realize has little to no nutritional value for your species, and before you even manage to make a dent, your stomach already fills to bursting and you have next to no DNA gain for it. You decide that the rock simply isn't worth it as a food.

Still, despite seeing you nearly bury them in fallen sand, the decomposers stand their good distance away, and the fan creatures still sit and remain motionless, waiting, possible watching you.

You are trapped between a rock, a mysterious fan creature, and some timid decomposers. It's time to be the predator.
