Beckett manages to avoid running into the blue-haired woman, hearing and seeing her coming before she even gets close. As she speaks, he lifts a finger to his lip, trying to silence her. He felt sorry for the poor girl, it was clear she had no idea what to do or where to go. Staying crouched in the shadows, Beckett waves for her to fall into step next to him.
"My name is Mathew Beckett." He whispers when she's close. "I'm not leaving the city, but if you stick with me you're probably going to be a lot safer than otherwise. It's up to you."
