Beckett leads Iriel through the streets, cutting through alleys and taking as many shortcuts as possible. He's constantly on the look-out, listening and watching for any sign of trouble.
So when he spots the Farbeast, Beckett isn't surprised. He pauses at the edge of the street connecting to the one with the farbeast, glancing over his shoulder and motioning for Iriel to stop. He creeps out to the edge of the road, silently looking for alternate routes. He tries not to look at the farbeast directly, and when he does only in passing glances.
Eventually, Beckett glances back at Iriel and shakes his head. Pointing over her shoulder, he indicates another road that runs parallel to the one they're on, before connecting with the one they need to cross a few blocks down.
