Fez Hat Reinholdt turns his hat into a massive sombrero and takes it off his head and tries to slam it down on the incoming Shoggoth tentacles and send it into the inter-dimensional holding space in his hat. Sure, it'll probably be able to crawl out, but it'll likely be disoriented for a few seconds and slow it down long enough for the catman to abandon the hat and flee for his life, with a great deal of screaming.
