First, I just want to say, I LOVE this thread :D
Second, so I'm not saying just that, I thought I'd throw a couple personal favorites out. Both of these are from the movie
The Man from Snowy River, which has great music and would probably slip the mind of anyone thinking of good geeky stuff.
Clancy's Theme - sounds kinda "rustic village" to me.
Harrison's Homestead - "Approaching the town" narration, I reckon.
