Well then, I'll just skip the whole design process text block then :P. Was completely blanking out before but had a semi-crazy idea hit me when I saw your avatar just now...so here goes.

Jolly Old Elf - 3RG
Legendary Creature - Elf Wizard M
{2} Tap: Choose One - Put a 0/1 Black Coal Creature token on the battlefield under target player's control. That token has 'At the beginning of your upkeep you lose 1 life' and 'Sacrifice this creature: Target opponent gains 5 life' or Put a 0/1 White Present Creature token on the battlefield under target player's control. That token has 'At the beginning of your upkeep you gain 1 life' and 'Sacrifice this creature: Tap target creature and put a +1/+1 counter on it.'
