Oh, man, I remember this abomination of a movie being the reason I had no desire, ever, to watch the Joss Whedon TV show. I know now that the link stops at the name, pretty much, but I didn't then.
What I do remember was hearing that line in the movie and, being also accosted by the vomitous tripe that is Beverly Hills 90210 in its heyday, thinking "of course she'd choose
Jason Priestly to be her beau for life".
