The essential question is for which of the two party members would this sort of close connection be most useful for the two purposes of strengthening character focus and integrating into the inevitable party. Skandi's limit break is based around extreme loyalty to those people he has a positive Intimacy towards, and he'll have one pretty much automatically to his mate.
