A dozen of the Xandits die by the bolt. Cat may notice that this is less than should die. The once around the dead Xandits are shocked or Paraliest, but the rest is now aware of the enemy. All not shocked or dead xandits start flying up and to the direction the bolt came from.

Cat was already aware that these were not normal bees, so she is not that very surprised that only a few go down. She doesn't stay where she was hiding and moves a bit to the right, hiding behind another tree before shooting a much more powerful bolt (probably around twice the power of the first bolt).
