The troll gives an earth-shaking, warbling cry as it lashes out at its surroundings with its tentacles, sundering stone and shattering trees. The creature's eye-sight doesn't seem to be very good. It can smell quite well, but now that Gordon has moved downstream AND downwind it seems to be having trouble finding him again.

This thing is big, dumb, strong, and nearly blind.

If Gordon wants to win his best bet is to out-wit it. Because over-powering it is almost certainly not an option!

Irritated with its inability to find Gordon the beast takes a deep breath before vomiting a slurry of ice, mud, stones, and jagged shards of wood into the river. The torrent surges down stream violently!
