Considering a half-Sireni, maybe now might be a good time to hammer out the relationship between Sireni and Merrow.

The problem I was having internally with the sort of deal you proposed between the Sireni and the Merrow is that the Merrow wouldn't necessarily go out of their way to acquire human corpses. The way I'm thinking most Merrow work, humans aren't too high up on the menu, mostly they prey on humans if they're A. Easy (like when they fall off of ships and drown/are drowning) or because they want something from them (like something their ships are carrying).

Sireni might not be a major threat to Merrow, but they'd still be dangerous and so Merrow wouldn't go out of their way to hunt Sireni, really only preying on them when they're alone or vulnerable, and considering things like this I don't know if the Merrow would do a trade off for just the bodies. That might be a part of the deal, but trading with the Sireni for things they acquired, or a cut of/access to the ships the Sireni bring in might be something they'd go for more.
