Yeah, they are on an island with an erupting volcano with two viable ways of leaving.
So basically the cheater IDE was that, since all the characters introduced before Cascade were Suckers, then the new characters will cheat. Because Doc Scratch said that suckers are born every tick of the clock, but cheaters are also born in the tock betwixt.
