Ogre in the Playground
Re: Light of Amber - Series One
Okay so I didn't actually get a chance to finish my sheet as character generation for my live game (AD&D) took much longer than I expected since there were two other players needing to gen backup characters. I might beable to work on it tomorrow but I need to finish the aforementioned AD&D character for play Friday night. I'll get it don't on Saturday otherwise.
I'll ask this again as well. Do we need a singer or can Temeka take perform (music manipulation) or something? This is assuming my instrument can be speakers and everyone else's music can be channeled through them.
Name: Temeka Blass
Magitech Templar 4/Magical Girl 3
(Using The Mage King's world from here
. In short the world is similar to Eberron and super villains pop up fairly often.)
One of many orphans in a world plagued by upstart villains, Temeka from an early age had to learn to grow up quick. Thankfully while the violence had taken her parents it had left her older brother, Dominick, to care for her. Gradually, intrigued by the pistol Dominick carried that was the last link to their family, Temeka began to learn the art of crafting. Of gears, pulleys, metal, and the rudiment of magic that banded it all together and made it work. This was of great benefit to the small town the duo had settled in in holding off the occasional attack. Eventually her skill came to the point where wealthy patrons from other towns and cities would send requests for Temeka.
Amongst Temeka's various projects one of her best and favorite works was the clockwork steed that Dominick uses in his travels. The framework had actually been given to her by an older gentleman to fix and 'find the right home for it'. Now its nearly indistinguishable from its original design though there are some aspects that even she wasn't able to puzzle out, almost as if there should have been another power source...
Using her experience from that project however Temeka was able to make another construct following a similar design, except this time patterned after a house cat. Soon named Chisaki the cat became a constant companion for Temeka while her brother traveled abroad.
Her most recent project is an experiment in its own right. A self supporting, personalized suit of armor. Temeka had heard of similar suits elsewhere yet they were rare, priceless things which often had the hand of a god involved with them. For Temeka she hoped that if she was successful it would be a leap forward in protecting her new hometown and perhaps, just perhaps, even allow her to follower in her brother's footsteps. As of now the suit is only half finished.
