Why is Cerai's golden disc a golden diamond? Is it just too hard to cut glass that way (round) given the technology of the Blackwood?

In my posts, smilies generally correspond to my expression at the time. As an example,  means "huh?" and "Hmm..". Also, "Landis" is fine.
