"The first thing I was going to ask is if there was some kind of reference material I could read, but I'm guessing that's it right there," she says, nodding towards the book with a small smile.

"I have dozens of questions, Mr. Kirsch," she continued, fingering her planner, "but I have a feeling we won't get to all of them tonight, so I'm thinking the most important are the ones about any dangers out there, Kindred or otherwise, and how to avoid them... like Jack of Nine Blades."

"After that, I wanted to discuss my job responsibilities at Weinmann and Kirsch, and then if we have time, maybe we can go through the rest."
