=Willpower costs (Rating) XP to raise.
=Virtues cost (Rating x2) XP to raise.
=Each BP at character creation is replaced by 3 XP, including BP gained from flaws. (This appears to have resulted in characters with fewer weak spots than normal and Willpower 10 not being an automatic choice, with little change in overall power level.)
Mechanical Systems
=Simple combat between large numbers of extras will be resolved by opposed rolls using a variant of the Creation-Ruling Mandate system. The flow of battle will be 'checked' every 10 ticks by rolling (Charisma/Intelligence + War) against a difficulty of (Enemy Size+Competence)-(Own Competence) - with unled groups of Extras rolling (Competence) dice. (Yes, you can have a leader who reduces the competence of his troops, should he be ill-suited to battle tactics.)
=Sea battles will likely be handled by a more nuanced variant of the CRM system than extra-on-extra combat is handled with. (This is on my to-do list.)
=Craft is a single ability, with one free type of craft with the first dot. Further crafts cost 2 specialties each for mortals, or 1 specialty for Exalted.
=Backgrounds cannot be gained in play due to XP, nor can XP be spent to 'reinforce' them against loss. They can only be gained by actually gaining them (generally by devoting downtime to such pursuits, with appropriate die rolls.) Backgrounds can be attacked in the same manner - applying both to players AND to NPCs.
Specific Rulings
=Light opium smoking imposes a -1 internal penalty on all actions, but the smoker can ignore one die of their total wound penalties.
=The cannons from Scroll of Kings are silly, but currently still canon. They may be retroactively replaced by something less silly in the future. (This is on my to-do list.)
Wound Complication Rules (Now complete)

Mortals are squishy, frail beings! Wounds can cause five main complications: Bleeding, Infection, Disabling Wounds, Knockdown, and Stunning.
Exalted are extremely resistant to bleeding and infection, completely immune to disabling wounds, and vulnerable normally to knockdown and stunning.
Bleeding
=Lethal (or Aggravated!) damage causes bleeding. As long as a character suffers from bleeding, they take a level of unsoakable lethal damage every (Stamina) minutes.
=Stanching a single wound's bleeding is a (Wits+Medicine) Speed 5/DV -1 miscellaneous action, at a difficulty of the number of lethal/aggravated health levels lost to the wound.
=Strenuous activity - combat, most things involving athletics, and the like - will re-open stanched wounds for mortals.
Infection
=Infection is a risk in any drawn-out battle, as wounds become exposed to disease. It is Virulence 3, Untreated Morbidity 1 (rising by 1 each day), and the Treated Morbidity is the same as Untreated, but medical attention halts the rise in difficulty. The Difficulty to Treat is equal to the current Morbidity.
=If sterilized with alcohol within an hour, the Virulence drops to 2. If cauterized within an hour (one unsoakable bashing damage) then no check against Virulence need be made.
=On a botch, or when the Morbidity of infection exceeds the character's (Stamina+Resistance), the character spends the next (Stamina) days dying at a -4 wound penalty from agonizing fever.
=Treatment is a daily (Intelligence+Medicine) roll against the current Morbidity. Success keeps the Morbidity from rising higher.
=Once the character beats the Morbidity, the infection ceases, but wound penalties DO penalize rolls against infection.
=While actively infected, a character suffers a constant -2 internal penalty to all non-reflexive actions from fever and discomfort.
Disabling Wounds
=Mortals who suffer 4+ levels of lethal or aggravated damage from a single attack suffer a disabling wound with an equal number of levels. This manifests as 'phantom damage' - no matter how many health levels the character heals, they always suffer wound penalties as if they were missing that many health levels.
=Repairing a disabling wound requires an (Intelligence+Medicine) roll with a difficulty equal to the number of levels in a wound, and takes two hours per level. This surgery inflicts a number of unsoakable lethal health levels equal to the original wound, which can be infected but heal normally.
Knockdown
=Anyone who suffers more raw damage dice than their (Stamina+Resistance) is hurled to the ground unless they succeed on a reflexive (Dexterity/Stamina)+(Resistance/Athletics) roll of difficulty 2. Rising from Prone requires a miscellaneous action.
=Deliberately tackling someone prompts a knockdown check from BOTH parties, and stuns the target even if they succeed on the roll.
=Sweeping with a staff, chain, whip, or kick (or similar weapons) reduces the accuracy of the attack by -2, but if it hits it inflicts a knockdown check even if it does no damage.
Stunning
=Characters who suffer more actual levels of damage than their Stamina must check for Stunning, rolling (Stamina+Resistance) at a difficulty of (Damage Inflicted-Stamina) with failure inflicting a -2 penalty on all non-reflexive actions until the attacker's next action.
